I always thought I am self-conscious. That means I deeply care about what other people think. I am coming to a realization that that may not be the case. So I have been this chill of a person and I never knew it. My mindset is always like you guys can say everything about me but that doesn't distort my version of truth. Like if you met me and called me fat, which by the way I don't see it as insult, its either I am or not---anyway if you called me fat and I don't think so, I will simply brush it off. So when my friends say I am fat I actually think, wow so I have been eating well. And when my mom says I am fat, she is actually proud because I have been eating. I am not saying the obese type of fat, which is unhealthy. But if its healthy and manageable, I find that okay. Like yeah, that makes me healthy. Also, if at any point in my life I feel uncomfortable with my weight, I just think I have a hand in it. It might require pain and a little bit more effort, but it can be changed.
So never in my life have I ever thought being fat is actually body shaming. I mean if I am fat then I am fat. If I am not, then you're just plainly lying. If I am not comfortable, well there's only one way to fix that. After all, I might have a hand in how my body got there. Easy.
