Yeah, Kokdu was after the scandal. Even Seo Ye Ji has yet to make a comeback after the scandal too. Scandals and controversies are career changing thing in South Korea. As for Choi Tae Joon, I just think it has nothing to do with his talent. He is talented. But things like this makes me think it has to do with his agency. At the end of the day, it boils down on how good you market a product. With a good agency, he should be able to land good roles and big ones at that.

No, weekend dramas are more taxing and takes more time to produce. That's why more established actors and actress don't take it. A weekend drama can actually take between 6-8 months or even a year for production. But the regular 16 episode series takes between 3-4 months. The weekend dramas mean you're tied down to a long-term project. Its like writing a research article and a research project in colleges/ universities. A research project will have you committed longer than a research article. So it has nothing to do with taking time for their family. Its just that Choi Tae Joon is criminally underrated. His last major project was three years ago and even those didn't perform exceptionally well for him to gain nationwide attention. Also, you said he wants to slow things down. His career hasn't really hit the mark. He doesn't have that much option to work with for him to consider that. So it would only make sense if he is well-known and a lot of directors want to cast him that slowing down things would be an option. Anyway, you don't slow things with a weekend drama. Its more of a popularity thing. You take it to gain more popularity or showcase your acting talent to the bigshot production companies.
How is Kim Jung Hyun in a weekend drama and Choi Tae Joon a sml again?
Yeah, weekend dramas are mostly taken by actors/actress who want to revamp their careers. Established actors or actress don't do it as much. Though I understand Kim Jung Hyun had a scandal. So it must have been hard for him to get back. So this must be a way for him. But I thought Choi Tae Joon was doing well considering he was a ML in his previous drama. I am guessing he wasn't getting projects as much. You have to pick something eventually, don't you? So you just pick something you get your hands on.
Sometimes only the established actors get to be picky with their projects as they have an image to protect and you wouldn't something to flop. But if you're growing, you just pick what you find and work hard to make it interesting. So that basically gives you an idea of why they chose to do a weekend drama. Its the best way to build viewership or fanbase in South Korea. Weekend dramas are especially known for that.
is it me or the actor on the poster is someone else?? did they forgot the change it? cuz he deosnt look like kim…
I literally thought the same after reading your comment but then checked other photos in the collection. I think its him. Its just that he must have lost a lot of facial fat. But its HIM.
i agree she's not in LGS Level till now LGS partnered only with well known actresses .Lee Bo Youngpark shin hae…
Azalea, I literally don't care about LGS. And my point was never addressing about that. I am just thinking LGS has a new project, cool. I might check it out when it comes out and if I have time on my hands. I am not a big fan either. I will watch it or decide not to depending on the reviews. Whether he is average or not, I won't argue about it because that depends on someone's preference or taste. If you don't find him above average and I do, so what? I like him so I will watch just for him. I will just assume there's something wrong with your taste and move on. I will just think to myself your taste is beyond repair and won't care to argue with you.

No, I said you both have the same point. That's my understanding from both your comment and Azalea's. I shared my understanding. I didn't tell you to adopt it. All I meant was that I wasn't giving an approval of your opinion. "You didn't ask and I wasn't giving none" answers your question, " I don't remember asking for your approval on my opinion." But here's the thing though, I get to decide how to interpret it based on the message you shared. I don't get to decide how you share or deliver your message as you have the full autonomy. But how it reaches me and how l make sense of it, you have no control over it.

Azalea, I didn't share my opinion on who is average or not. I left it open. I argued that both you and Ankits are basically making the same point just differently.

I don't agree with either of you. But isn't saying one is average or not point to levels. Aren't you saying they're both on the same level? They're both average.
Did he tell you that? And how does this information enhance his publicity? Is he about to release some music you…
Oh really? That must be fun to have people speculate what type of disease one is suffering from. I mean there are many things I could think of to remain relevant but a disease isn't one on my books.
We can do this all day if you want. Promise me you won't cry though.
