Yes, it was Jin HoGyeong that brought the sealed ice stone to Jang Gang to revive her unborn baby,
however it was Seol Ran’s Ghost ( soul)that lingered around and inserted herself inside the dead baby’s body ( knowingly and intentionally) so realistically it’s not HoGyeong that performed sorcery because it actually failed.
The fact that Seol Ran said she foresaw the tragedy, meant she actually planned the whole thing, which makes me wonder, Did she Kill HoGyeong’s baby( Buyeon) in order to use her body to come back into the world because it’s definitely not a coincidence.
Seo Gyeong left the ice stone so she could use it’s power to heal and save herself but she didn’t, why die and decide to use a baby’s body pretending for 10 years to be that child?

Here’s the thing about how they butchered the plot.
In part 1 , on the boat when she found the ice stone in the lake, she seemed to try to return it to the sky right?
What if Jin Mu didn’t push her off, how would Uk be alive to kill the firebird?
She said that only Uk can do it because he was born under the King’s star powers , she said she foresaw everything but yet she initially wanted to get rid of the stone.

Another thing is If Buyeon’s soul was actually gone and wasn’t in the body from birth, Why did 2 versions show up in the ice stone barrier saying, ‘WE didn’t lose it this time ‘?
These are very clear flaws because it’s very clear that it was 2 souls talking to Naksu/Mudeok at that time but because they didn’t have So -Min, they only had the young actress, they decided to change the plot and bring in a super weak storyline about the Firebird, 20 episodes of Part 1 where they spoke about the drought 200 years ago but never ever a mention of a Firebird, we’ve been hearing that Master Seo Gyeong and Jin Seol-Ran created Jinyowon to lock relics but never a mention about the Fire bird, Master Heo, Park Jin, Master Lee and most importantly Jin Mu never mentioned this dangerous bird once, no mention to check if it’s hatching, nothing, until around episode 4-5 of part 2? It just doesn’t make any sense whatsoever, I’m not convinced at all.

Also Master Lee said h thinks Seol Ran was the one that guided the ice stone to Uk another rubbish because If Mudeok/Naksu didn’t eventually give in to UK’s love he wouldn’t have the ice stone because She had it, remember Uk even said he was worried that she might’ve run away and left him behind because she had the ice stone.

I actually would love to see a interview video of the Hong sisters explaining the story, like other screen writers sometimes do, showing the scenes and explaining the thought process behind it , I watched the writer for The Glory explaining her thought process of each scene and her expectations with the director etc and I’m sure Hong sisters had the same privilege, part 2 doesn’t correspond with part 1 in so many ways.

Jin Seol Ran soul is inside Buyeon’s body with the use of the ice stone, isn’t that Sorcery since she didn’t reach Hwanso naturally?

No it’s not for everybody. As I said I’m pleased to see someone saying positive things here about the series since part 2 aired weeks ago without bashing the FL, however like most people in the comments that also watched the show, I felt they messed up the main Characters and their story arcs, including Jin Mu, The threat and so forth.
We suddenly got told about a Firebird in the middle of the final episodes , seriously, it was never mentioned in all 20 something episodes of the same show. Nah.

I guess he gained more experience because it’s his first time filming for so long and he really enjoyed the experience of it all, it got him more fame and more possibilities with working with other writers and directors because they all have wonderful things to say about him and that attracts more roles for him in the future. There’s always a positive in every situation 😄

only appears when the seven stars align and become visible to humans, depending on where

Hemisphere . When the 8th star is visible it’s known as a God sent star and when a child is born on that night ( the Godsent lucky star) they are considered blessed Directly by the Heavens, Jang Uk was born on such a night predicted by Jang Gang and Master Seo Gyeong was also born on such a night.
Just like Seo Gyeong Jang Uk was granted special gifts by the Heavens and that is why Uk can control the ice stone so easily, unlike others including Master Choi and Seol Ran.
I’m not sure why they decided to include the 7 stars as people representatives because Uk is NOT the actual King’s Star , he was born under the Kings Star which means he is blessed and favoured by God. Rewatch part 1 as The late king and Jang Gang speak about it, also as Master Lee and Jang Uk speaks about it.
That whole Seol Ran Jin Buyeon thing is fan service tbh because Jang Uk had a choice to become king by usurping the king or be out in the world protecting it from evil.
We Know Uk wants to be active and free and not sitting down listening to politics.

She did not choose when to remember lol she said that she didn’t remember the moments just before she ran wild but she promised that when she does , she would hold his hand, she then clasp his hands and he nodded in agreement.

Part of the reason she remembered is because Seol Yul more or less told her by telling her about the bells.
When Seol Ran called Uk with the Jade and showed him the threat, Naksu was now only on borrowed time because Seol-Ran had fully awaken and therefore Naksu’s soul had to leave, if anything it’s Seol-Ran that allowed her to say her last words to Uk,
Again it was Yul that un knowingly pushed the memories forward by telling her about Jin Mu and the bell.
It looks confusing because the Effects team played too much with the time lines in too short of spaces in between scenes.

I have to agree here tbh, what ever they tried to do clearly failed because too many people are convinced he fell in love with someone new( even though we know he didn’t) I also see the difference in him before and after he actually learned the truth that it’s her.

Again, i along with thousands of viewers didn’t get the vibe you got, if you scroll down you will see for yourself, not to mention twitter, everything you explained looks perfect on paper, however it wasn’t projected clearly enough on screen , the episodes were all over the place especially episodes 9-10 . As I said before as well the kiss scenes were the best scenes between them and I for 1 defended most of it until every single thing sunk it after rewatching a few times.
The way you described everything is logically how it’s supposed to be , even the stakes you mentioned, I wrote about here days before the episode airs because I thought I noticed a tiny glimpse of Jon Snow ( Love is The Death of Duty)( GOT).
The point I’m making is . When Uk notices her eyes in the prison, we were robbed of his Reaction as they were quickly interrupted by CP, ( bad decision on the directors part)
When they had a alone moment they actually didn’t know about Seol ran and the threat as yet , he left saying he didn’t want to acknowledge her because he would have to kill her if he does.
Think about it seriously now.
He knows she’s a soul shifter ( still is) he was pinning and waiting for 3 years, why? She’s a soul shifter and even if she was back in her own body she still would be a soul shifter so …. ?

Part 1 episode 20 his intention was to use the ice stone to save her, then he died and he’s using the ice stone for himself but he still can use it’s power to help her but he didn’t even try to find any possible solution he just accepted that she could disappear? Nah , it makes no sense whatsoever, it doesn’t match up to everything we’ve been hearing from him at all.

I would actually love the Hong Sisters to really sit down together and have a really good discussion and come up with a solid plan to make a prequel to AOS leading up to the events that took place 200 years ago.

I want to know who the so-Called 7 stars were then that supported Seo Gyeong.

I would love to see Seol-Ran using her Devine Priestess powers to create all the establishments eg Jinyowon and the So called Prison,.

I really want to know how she got the bird to be an egg form again if they didn’t kill the Firebird in the first place (that’s one of the things that’s bothering me most of all) how did they capture the Firebird and turned the fire bird into a unhatched egg .

I would like to see when they arrested Master Shaman Choi and put him inside the island Prison, I would love to know how many more people was put there because from Jin Mu’s conversation that prison had more souls yet we only saw one Waith .
I would love to see how and why they didn’t escape when the door was opened to put new ones in back then because clearly they can now.

I would like to see the relationship Master Seo Gyeong had with Jin Seol Ran because clearly he never told her how he felt so I’d like to know what exactly the relationship was between them.

I would like to see how Seol-Ran’s Soul got into the ice stone, did her soul just lingered in Jinyowon for 200 years waiting for someone to un seal it, Did she Kill the unborn baby inside Jin HoGyeong to set things in motion?

I need those answers immediately 🤣

Sorry even the 7 stars thing, they made into a mess as it’s actually a real thing regarding the big dipper in the constellation, not sure why they decided to make it represent actual people and How did Sangho relate because if Park Jin was against Uk so would Sangho so he’s not actually a true loyalist of Uk ,there is no real solid ground to that specific plot
