Exactly. Every single thing that Uk represented in regards to love and wanting, longing, pining for his love was thrown out the window. When he found out it was her in that stupid good for nothing so called prison that Seol Ran built was just absolutely underwhelming, his reaction, I still can’t even comprehend it,

No I didn’t see him shining with love at the wedding in episode 10 , I saw more love in the BTS that they cut out tbh, they both actually cried in real life while shooting that scene and the idiots didn’t think to show those scenes on screen the only time we got a little something was Uk nodding with approval when she said she wanted to use Cho Yeong, the name her parents gave her.

When he went to see her after she left the Assembly and he kissed her eye, that was the most romantic or should I say loving we saw tbh but it still doesn’t change the fact he was waiting for her to die because it seems that was actually the problem, he didn’t see it the first time. I love LJW and I love GYJ and I liked AOS but tbh honest the love stories in this series is not very convincing at all, especially in part1 and I only saw romantic kissing which was excellent in part 2 but love runs deeper than that and I didn’t get the chance to see that because the messed up part 2 by dragging the amnesia plot way too long and by the time they both recognised each other, we got a overly rushed ending for them.
I’m happy you enjoyed it but tbh so many people actually didn’t and not just about FL and ML , also the other casts and their stories too.

About her choosing to give up her body to save Daeho I again have to disagree according to my English subs on Netflix. Buyeon visited her before she knew of a threat, Buyeon AKA Seol-Ran did not give her an explanation as to the real reason she was going to kick her soul out and most importantly she had no way of stopping it because Seol ran/Buyeon was already waking up and that’s why she made her aware, the only person that could’ve saved her was Uk but I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t know that at the point either, not even Yul thought about that possibility, it was Master Lee who pointed it out to Yul

That’s why he kept asking himself why he was getting the same feelings with BoYeon as with MaDeok. Her coldness once made him stronger and he fell in love with her like that. Now her warmth thawed his ice-cold heart, regaining his will to live and care for the world, as he fell in love with a different facet of the same soul.

I’m not sure if you have different subs from what I saw on my Netflix but the biggest problem I had was we got no indication from Uk that she felt familiar, I’ve said this over and over, what we got was Jang Uk falling in love with a whole new person and I’m not talking about looks etc , the Cho Yeong we met In Part 2 before episode 9 had nothing similar to the Cho Yeong/Naksu that he apparently fell in love with in part 1, we should’ve at least got some inner monologue questioning himself about some sort of familiarity with her, I know the whole point is for him to fall in love with her soul but even if that’s happening the obvious thing for one to do is question it, show the examples of what his heart is recognising, that is the job for the director and the visual effects team.
The biggest problem is he found out it’s really her after he fell in love and more or less confessed it but the moment he knew the truth he didn’t come across as someone truly in love, it came across as if he was more guilty of failing his promise to protect her( we know it was out of his control at the time) but this time he has all the powers but he was willing to let her die without even trying to find a solution.
In the end I say Jang Uk had chosen Duty over love but got Lucky 🍀 because Seol Ran decided to spare her in the end.

I love mr Jang😅 but I agree he should rest more if there’s a season 3, I really hope there is a season 3 , I’m not ready to say goodbye to this show as yet

I usually wait until a drama finishes and I made the mistake with AOS , that 4 months was torture lol. I said I would never do it again but I gave in with Missing the other side and now The Glory because I needed something to take my mind off AOS and it worked, thank Goodness 😅 but I’m not giving in to Arthdal chronicles because everyone is saying how good it is . I don’t want to suffer so I’m waiting.🥰
