We'll need a director, a writer, actors, and investors to get it done.
We have loads of amazing Writers in this Thread and loads of Producers and executives producers over on Twitter. I guess we’re only missing a Director 🤣.

A prequel is better to clear out the origins of key points of plot
Yea I’m still curious about how Seol Ran soul got into the sealed ice stone that Master Gyeong sealed and left for Seol Ran that we were told died from illness and didn’t use the ice stone to save herself.
Now turns out she somehow transferred her own soul into the ice stone 200 or nearly 200 years after her death to be reborn into a dead fetus, makes me wonder. Who killed the Fetus Jin Buyeon?

What I’m trying to say is I’d love to see a prequel. 😀

The old Naksu was dead since part 1, so I was not expecting a comeback in part 2. Buyeon's body is weak. Remember…
But it was his ultimate goal regardless as you’ve said , ‘He wanted to gain power through the ice stone’
But I wonder who was going to control it for him after Shaman Choi’s death because he can’t even control it to produce soul injectors himself.

Everything you said, although it makes sense, is all speculation. But let's say things happened exactly as you…
Ok, as I said before I haven’t watched a lot of Korean or Asian fantasy films before, in fact AOS and Island season 1 are the only two that I found interesting from the start. And I enjoyed both for specific reasons.🥰

The Ice stone and it’s power was Jin Mu’s ultimate goal since part 1 and that’s why he had Buyeon looking for it, it doesn’t even matter because it was his ultimate goal in part two even though he confessed he can’t control it. That was even before he shifted souls,

I haven’t read all your comment as yet😂 I’ll get to it.
Yes I would say the story line is not that good at all.

I think maybe you misunderstood me about FL.
I didn’t enjoy JSM for most part of part 1.
I’m 1000000% For GYJ and her acting regardless she’s a rookie actress , I’m not that big on over acting at all.
Let me try to break down what I meant in a more clear way.
Naksu opened up part 1, although she was fighting, she maintained a cool demeanour, she never made those silly rolling of eyes etc, I loved her confidence and her poise.
JSM comes in , yes she’s supposed to be in disguise and I get it but when she was alone with Uk she didn’t capture GYJ’s poise and Aura at all.
Although in part 2 Naksu’s circumstances had changed, she lost her memories etc she still had a certain poise that she clearly had in part 1.
So what I was trying to say there was a lack of attention to details where the director is concerned because when they were filming JSM outside of the Mudeok persona they didn’t notice that a specific aura or poise was missing, especially knowing that GYJ was coming back, I also understand that GYJ didn’t get enough screen time to fully study her( like yul uncle had with Jin Mu) but the difference is quite evident between the acting and therefore a lot of people are saying GYJ didn’t play her role well( it’s here a lot) however I disagree because I personally think it was JSM that didn’t capture the essence of Naksu even when she was not in Mudeok’s persona which is her own depiction of that personality.I hope I make sense.

As for Uk, I fully understand why he was only killing Soul shifters ( I do pay attention 😅) but my point is with the right creative thoughts his arc could’ve been more interesting.
You say part 2 was dark and not just You the description says the same but tbh I didn’t see or feel that way the only darkness I experienced was UK’s clothing 🤣.
I love the show but I’m disappointed in the actual story telling as for me it wasn’t solid.
I absolutely loved the cast, every single one of them and for that reason I’ll rewatch from time to time.

Everyone has different taste , I thought the actual storyline ( base) had great potential but in the end it was weak, as you’ve said they left us week after week speculating, sharing theories and tbh majority of those theories would have made this show one of the biggest and best to come out of Korea, because it’s fresh, a story doesn’t have to be complicated to do well , However a simple story shouldn’t be contradictory, saying one thing in a couple episodes then forget and it’s something else when another person gets a similar story.
However I can’t wait to see GYJ and LJW’s next project as they’re 2 of my favourite actors RN.

PS I’m a person that live for a good story 😀, I get annoyed quite easily when a story is too repetitive

Why do you think Uk was in such deep denial ( as you say) when he’s living in a world of soul shifters and magic that he personally has experience with?
I’m not saying he shouldn’t be either I’m saying it was dragged out way too long to the point where he came across slow, it felt like they didn’t know what to do with the characters tbh.

I remembered his back story but what was his goals and plans.
I also remember what it was , however even though he had the ultimate power in his arms length and even once in his own hands, all he did was plot for 17-18 episodes then lost the ultimate power then start another plan to get the same ultimate power, so 30 episodes to try to get something that’s he had but never used to start a new goal to get it back. 🤣

PS. The worst part of that ridiculous arc is he said himself that he can’t even use the ice stone, only Jang Gang and Shaman Choi( deceased) can control and Uk was gifted it’s power, so please explain how that is a storyline that makes even 1% sense?

For me it's the other way round. I prefer GYJ. And I was very disappointed that in S1, after the intro, Naksu…
She’s so cool , I loved her especially when she was tracking So-Yi , the way she slightly tilted her with a calm expression but seriousness in her tone, what can I say , She’s just a badass and she literally don’t need a sword to be one.

Yep. They should've wrapped up ice stone thing, it was one of the missions of the King's star fate, master Seo…
If they made him live with no power then the relics that escaped Jinyowon would cause another type of chaos

I didn’t mind but I desperately wanted her to come back by the end but I wanted that end to be episode 15 so part 2 would be 15 episodes too

To me JSM, did a very good job as MD in terms of the comedic aspect and the emotional delivery. If GYJ were to…
She played Mudeok well but she didn’t play Cho Yeong /Naksu very well 🤣 she also did a good job at playing JSR in the ice stone barrier

dk if i missed the explanation but why did the OG jin priestess keep her soul alive in the ice stone instead of…
The catastrophe was brought not because of the ice stone originally but because of the fire bird, it still makes 2 % sense because the ice stone only came from the sky after they performed a rain ritual so I’m assuming they couldn’t destroy the bird before, maybe they didn’t know the ice stone could kill it? I don’t really know because nothing is explained fully about the ice stone.
