30 episodes could have worked perfectly as there’s so Much Lore’s that could’ve been explored, they should’ve split it 15 episodes part 1 and 15 episodes for part 2 and focus on the plot instead of using fillers and then try to deal with a plot that was actually introduced in the last 2-3 episodes. Fire bird thing was never even mentioned once in any way in part 1 that had 20 episodes? It’s still bugging me as to how and why The fire bird egg got in Jinyowon, why did Seo Gyeong kill it how did it become an egg if it burned Daeho 200 years ago, no story behind it. Nothing 😭

She would’ve never be happy to share the crown with Jin as well and both her and Sansa would never see eye to eye as Sansa would never give up the North to her, she wanted too much and she wasn’t going to compromise at all. I don’t think Dany’s character was ruined I actually thought it was perfect and fitting, I actually expected it and it made sense to me, however we still don’t know how George RR Marten will deal with her character in the books as he didn’t reveal his plans to D & D, so they did what summed her up perfectly in the show version.😊

All fantasy films costs a whole lot of money, it’s never a cheap process. The initial idea and vision for this show takes a lot of planning not something that’s rushed , 1 year is way too little of timescale to do something like this when the thought of 20-30 episodes is in mind.
I agree that part 1 had really good CGI and I agree with all the scenes you’ve pointed out but part 1 also had a major issue for me especially when I rewatch certain scenes after reading some reviews here comparing the FLs..
GOT and HOTD CGI Is in whole different league tbf I wanted to feel as if I was having an experience of the firebird myself but it was flat. Defeating it so easily makes Master Seo Gyeong and Seol Ran look like a joke. Such a build up of this dangerous bird but yet , Uk didn’t even bear a bruise or any struggle, that’s s joke, I was supposed to be terrified, worried whether he’d make it out alive, holding my breath, instead all I was thinking was WTF is this? That’s my honest truth in this, I’m so happy everyone was ok but I wasn’t impressed at all. The Firebird should’ve been released in at least the last 5-10 mins of episode 9 ending carrying over to episode 10, having us wondering who’s going to make it out alive. The end results was satisfying but the overall construction was MEH in my opinion.
Yep, the firebird when hatched was unimpressive and way too easy to kill, I didn’t duck when it flew forward and it didn’t even come close to camera 🎥😭
