Oh yeah, definitely. I feel like she might turn all psychotic due to that scene of her wearing YM's dress and having tea with the invisibles, eeeekkkk. As for DLR, I am so sure he enjoys the kiss from YM as he would from any woman, maybe way too much. It was so funny to me the time YM went to the hospital to check up after finding out she was being cheated on said to the lawyer that he wanted to make sure her husband didn't give her any diseases. LOL Now that was so real. Every smart woman should do the same. Love yourself and protect yourself first. That showed YM is logical and smart. She just enjoys being a princess so I can't wait to see her learning all the skills needed to be a strong, capable woman now that reality of life hits. Would love to see many comical moments as she navigates through all the self development instead of the whole drama about revenge and scam.

I totally agree with you. The worst type of women are those home-wreckers. I do think they are worse than the man themselves though they all are 9.0/10 10/10 terrible people. However, knowing someone who is already married and still create tragedy for the innocent family members are unforgivable. So no, I don't like wen xiao xiao either. And I do hope to see she gets her karma as well.
As for Hui, she's bad and evil but not as greedy as DLR. That doesn't make her better. And we are beginning to see karma coming for her. She's beginning to see that her husband doesn't love her as much as he said. He's getting more greedy and has cheated on her not only because of their scheme together but for his own self satisfaction. We never know, this type of man, he could be pushing her forth to take all the responsibility and legal punishments if that come. He only cares about himself.
As for DLR, I want the writer to truly run hell on him at every turn. What could be more satisfying to watch than that. He was so evil when he was telling Hui how FL was born with all the fortune but unfortunate for her, all that will be theirs soon enough.

Yes, and YM did say herself that her husband is suspecting that was why he went to meet her lawyer. I hope the writers didn't leave out such an obvious mistake as this. Hopefully they will give us a satisfactory reason or discovery about this. I would seriously break a tea cup if the husband ends up finding out many things through that hidden cam and give these women some serious issues.

That's what I am saying. If it takes all 4 women and the attorney to take down 1 scam artist. I won't feel satisfy at all. That just makes that scam artist too smart. LOL And all 28 episodes on taking this guy down is way too draggy . But oh well, maybe the writers will give us surprises.

Seriously, if these ladies know that they're after him and he's starting to suspect them. He sent over a lamp out of nowhere and they don't suspect a thing? Come on, it's 2026 . When I saw she was pulling out the lamp I knew right away it has a hidden camera. Anything to display in the house as the matter of fact. He's a scam artist, how could they not expect he would use this strategy? uggghhh....I hope they find out soon.

LOL exactly. I know what you mean. That's why I wrote a comment before hoping that the whole revenge, divorce thing gets done and over with by the middle of the series and the rest we get to see the FL rebuilding her life breaking through obstacles and finding now romance, etc. Yup, 28 episodes of just taking him down from the combination of all 4 women, damn...that's not satisfying.

Them both are horrible people. How do you try to save your kid's life by scamming and hurting others? Nuh uhhhh...karma will get to these type of people in a blink of a eye. Instead of saving their kid, they'll be hurting her too.

Yeah, I am hoping that we all will get the satisfaction of seeing her beating her scam artist of a husband at every move. I want to see him suffer at every step and gets beaten down so bad until he's gone from the drama so we can just focus on her building her life and breaking through all obstacles to become strong, independence, and powerful woman.

Well, I hope the listing is true. Because I wouldn't want to see a character like that lasting this whole drama. Maybe this character will be gone half way through. But yeah, I know what you mean. His wife Lu Hui is listed as main? wht? She lasts this whole drama too?

Let's hope so otherwise it would be so toxic to watch if it's only about revenge, money, adultery, and scams.

This is a 28 episode 45 mins per. I truly hope this is not all about revenge, divorce and protecting her family wealth. This would suck so bad. Instead, I am hoping this starting plot will end by episode 14, 15 then we have a new story of her learning to life-conscious again. Rebuilding herself, be independence, and about finding new love that will give hope to many women out there who have been betrayed that there are still good men out there and true love does exist. So let's see. Otherwise if it's only about the original plot of divorce and revenge for the whole 1260 minutes then I'll be so bored and draggy especially when the mains already found out about the whole scheme. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I am not just thinking. I am sure he set everything up. Notice how he was chasing after the motor cyclist that was involved in the accident but we didn't really see what happened? But then he ended up in the hospital with her with injuries. So rotten from the start. He's a scam artist, and a womanizer. It's sad for all these women.

I was going to write a review but since I am not done with the drama I am not going to. Instead I just need to vent out some thoughts so here they come.
Take Charge of My Heart (2026) Cute, Charming, and a Little Too Stuck in K-Drama Land 💗
I’m currently on Episode 7 of Take Charge of My Heart, and so far, I’ve genuinely enjoyed it for what it is: a light, entertaining, heart-fluttering drama that I can happily watch while doing chores. You know, the kind of drama that keeps you company while folding laundry or washing dishes, gives you a few butterflies along the way, and doesn’t require you to put your entire life on hold just to follow the plot. 😂
I like both leads, and the SML is a nice addition, too. The second FL? I actually like her fashion style, but unfortunately, her character is about as exciting as the standard jealous second female lead we’ve seen in countless K-dramas. Pretty outfits, predictable behavior. We know the drill.
Now, let’s talk about our ML. That man has a BODY! Tall, naturally proportioned, and not overly muscular. Just beautifully built without looking like he spends 23 hours a day lifting weights. Sometimes, less really is more. 😏
I know fashion is taking us back to the '80s and early '90s, with those pleated, wide-leg trousers that somehow manage to make men look shorter and a little more ridiculous than they actually are. Beautiful fashion are fashion that fit. Not the trends and not what look amazing on models. Truly, I am not a fan of those huge pants. Wide leg pants in nicely draped type of fabrics are amazing on women with high heels by the way. 😂 But somehow, this ML pulls them off reasonably well because of his height and proportions. Personally, though, I’m still team classic, fitted suit, and well fitted clothing. Put that man in a well-tailored, normal suit, and let me enjoy the view in peace!
As for our FL, well… she’s Cinderella, exactly as the story intends her to be. Nothing particularly groundbreaking there, but I came into this drama expecting something light and enjoyable, not a philosophical masterpiece. So, initially, I was perfectly happy to go along for the ride.
BUT THEN CAME THE END OF EPISODE 6.
That was when I started feeling a little bored, and not because the romance wasn’t delivering. It was because some of the writing choices started reminding me of the very things I wish K-drama writers would finally retire. First, the whole “I’m different, therefore I must be a monster” storyline.
Seriously, writers, can we move on from this already? 🙄
This woman has lived with her special ability since childhood. She has already experienced what it feels like to be different from everyone else and, presumably, has had years to process the consequences of it. Yet, when her powers become more significant, instead of gradually exploring what makes her unique and learning to embrace it, we’re dragged back into the familiar cycle of self-doubt, isolation, and calling herself a monster. I could understand this kind of storyline in a drama set in a time when being different was considered shameful or dangerous. But we live in a world where people are constantly encouraged to embrace their individuality, celebrate their uniqueness, and stand out from the crowd. Whether it’s getting a better job, pursuing personal goals, or simply being unapologetically ourselves, most people I know aren’t exactly dreaming of blending into the background and becoming invisible. Of course, not everyone finds it easy to accept their differences, and fear of rejection is very real. I’m not saying those emotions shouldn’t exist in a character. I’m saying that when a character has lived with her differences for years, I want to see a little more depth in how she handles them.
Let her struggle, absolutely. Let her be afraid. But also let her discover her own strength! Let her be curious about what she can do. Let her surprise herself. Let her grow beyond the same old “Why am I like this? Am I a monster?” routine.
Being different doesn't automatically have to mean being miserable. Sometimes, it can be the beginning of something extraordinary. Writers, please take your heads out of that dusty old storytelling gutter. We are ready for something fresher!
And then we have the airport scene. Oh, dear. The airport scene. 🤦‍♀️
The FL loses control of her emotions, the electrical current goes haywire, and the glass structure above her begins cracking. Everyone is running for their lives, but our FL just stands there, raises her hands to cover her head, and waits for disaster to happen.
Girl, MOVE! Take two steps forward! Your prince will still come for you. ONLY 2 STEPS.
And then Prince Charming arrives and covers her head with his shirt instead of pulling her out of the danger zone. Sir, I appreciate the protective instincts, and I certainly appreciate the view, but WHAT ARE WE DOING HERE? 😂
There is a giant, potentially collapsing glass structure above you. The priority should be getting both of you out of the way, not creating a romantic tableau beneath falling debris! I know this kind of scene has been used in countless romantic dramas. The hero shields the heroine with his body, a piece of clothing, or whatever happens to be available, and suddenly, we’re supposed to feel our hearts flutter. And yes, there was a time when these scenes worked beautifully. But in 2026? I need a little more common sense with my romance, please!
Protective is attractive. Protectively standing under falling glass when you could simply move is not. 😂 Romance doesn't lose its magic just because the characters make sensible decisions. In fact, sometimes watching a man instinctively pull the woman he cares about out of danger is far more attractive than watching him pose dramatically while risking both their lives.
Now, let's talk about the villains. The aunt. The uncle. The cousin. The greedy relatives circling the family fortune like vultures, waiting to steal the rightful heir's position.
Oh, come on! How many times are we going to watch this exact family power struggle play out? 😩
At this point, I feel like I could write the next five episodes myself. Someone discovers a secret. Someone plots behind closed doors. Someone wants the throne, the company, or the inheritance. The rightful heir is threatened. Cue the dramatic music! I’m not saying family betrayal and corporate power struggles can’t make compelling stories. They absolutely can. But surely we can have more imaginative antagonists than another collection of jealous relatives who believe the best way to solve their problems is to steal someone else's seat at the top. Give us villains with intelligence, complexity, and motives that doesn't make us saying to ourselves "not again", "here goes again." Give us someone whose actions are genuinely unpredictable, whose ambitions make sense even when we disagree with them, or whose presence challenges the leads in ways we haven't seen a hundred times before. I want to be surprised, not sitting there thinking, Ah, yes. Here comes the evil uncle. Right on schedule. 😂 And while we're at it, can we also retire the idea that Prince Charming must be a tall, handsome, wealthy heir to a massive corporation, with half the female population chasing after him? Why does the prince always have to own half the city?
Why does Cinderella so often have to be a disadvantaged woman who struggles emotionally or financially? There's nothing wrong with a rich man falling for an ordinary woman. I enjoy that fantasy as much as anyone when it's done well. Sometimes, I absolutely want the handsome prince, the heart-fluttering glances, the expensive suits, and the romance that makes me smile at my screen like an idiot. We all deserve a little escapism! ❤️ But Cinderella doesn't always have to be helpless, and Prince Charming doesn't always have to be a chaebol heir. And that's really my biggest wish for K-dramas. Not that they abandon romance, fantasy, or familiar tropes altogether, but that they find new ways to tell these stories. Because honestly, I still enjoy the butterflies. I still enjoy a handsome ML, a sweet FL, a little jealousy, a little tension, and those moments that make me rewind a scene just to enjoy it again. I'm not asking every drama to reinvent television. I'm simply asking writers to stop giving us the same old Cinderella story with different actors and a slightly updated wardrobe.
But I can enjoy a drama and still wish it had taken a few more creative risks. Those two things can coexist! I'm not a writer, just a viewer who loves a good romance and appreciates a drama that can make my heart flutter while I'm doing household chores. 😂 But even a casual viewer can recognize when a story starts leaning too heavily on familiar formulas. So, dear K-drama writers, please keep the handsome men, the romantic tension, and the swoon-worthy moments coming. Just give us a few more surprises along the way. Let your heroines embrace their uniqueness, let your heroes rescue people sensibly, and let your villains do something more interesting than plotting to steal the family business.

Yeah for sure. I bet she's going to do crazy stuff and it's going to bite her in the ass. She's definitely not a good person as it was shown how she treats her husband thus far. It's sad for that guy as he seems to be a nice young man.

I am thinking they will do 43 and then the express of the last 4 after. If they do 1 episode till the end then I'll just wait till they all came out and watch it. It's really annoying.

She wants power and to lead the household. She looks down on the fl's servant background.

I feel the same. I thought the express is out today but nope, 1 episode again. Whoever does this stupid scheduling should be gone.

These days you can go into any Japanese market and find cooked lotus roots in Japanese bento boxes. They're delicious.
