I got to ep26 and I find it very disturbing that Ming Yi did not have any suspicion whatsoever after that little dragon girl let her into the memory of Bo zai's master after checking her blood. She did the same with Bo Zai and did not let him in yet she let Ming Yi in. While inside the Bo Zai's master specifically said that the secret recipe can only pass down and protected by the descendant of that bloodline. Yet Ming Yi didn't even think twice when they passed it to her. The other lady in that piece of memory with Bo Zai's master constantly staring at Ming Yi while having tears in her eyes; she also pat Ming Yi's hair/head in a loving way. Ming Yi paid no attention. I've mentioned before in another post about Ming Yi when people were questioning her identity and she just sat there in silence. Well, this is another example of her character that I find a bit challenging for me. It's crazy because the other people who were spying on them got the clue immediately such as the obsessed sml. I like the series thus far but it is very slow pace. It's way too draggy with the same issues. I am going to wait for all episodes to come out and just finish it in one sitting. It's not worth for me to wait just to watch 2 eps a day.
I think she's focused on getting healed completely from the heavenly grief since she doesn't know JBZ already…
This drama was full of romance from the beginning. For god's sake the two leads have already slept together. To which I find them taking that a bit lightly in this drama considering that period of time, the ancient time? LOL
To be a couple with each other? Aren’t they family?
Not that I know of. I thought they were just in the assassin clan together. I don't know the story. We'll find out. We have so many main good looking leads here so why not have a non-traditional lead couple. I am just sayin'. Based on their characters from other dramas, they're just best friends.
Is it just me that feels everything is happening so fast, he already likes her but her feelings for him is kind…
You guys left out the trope that we see the most in dramas is the money hungry relatives who would do anything to take over the corporation, etc. It's human nature but come on, it's 2025. It's not that easy to kill people off and get away with it for so long. Besides, every rich person has backup plans in just something happen to them let alone a corporation or a group. I am more forgiving with the childhood trope than of this money-hungry one.
Liking cliches, when I promised I wouldn't is so me!! I was angry because they had a childhood connection, but…
Yeah I like that as well. One thing I don't like the most is the dark side of this story. I was hoping for a fun, light drama that makes me giggle through out and feel relax. But noooo, the evil "white hair" uncle part has to be included with all the dark tropes such as that nasty ceo guy from the raffle housing thing that treats people like they owe him the world - the entitled characters that we see in many dramas. Asides from that, I like everything else so far.
Ok, this drama's poster looks great so I looked up the introductory summary. The summary sounds interesting too . I watched episode 1. I dropped the series. The most obvious reason I dislike it from the get-go is how powerful Wu Lin Fu is. According to the drama, he's a chief of eunuch? So how is a chief of eunuch, no matter how much the emperor trust and like him, in this first episode, he seems to have more power than the most loved imperial consort. He didn't bow, or address her in the scene when he was walking toward her carriage, I found that odd. In addition, his costume doesn't make him look like a powerful chief. He looks more like any other common eunuch. Perhaps there's much more to this story but then again, I've lost all my interest with this drama as I don't really like how this story starts with the main leads. To those who are interested, enjoy!
Ming Xian, she knows her situation yet she's nowhere prepared for moments when suspicions of her true identity are challenged. Episode 13 she just got so quiet the whole time without any smart retaliation and just left everything to everyone else to defend her, in which drove me crazy. I was so frustrated so I called her "dumb ass." Then comes lies after lies. I don't know about you guys but "white lies" where you know you don't hurt anyone but instead lighten situations can be good and perfectly acceptable. But these lies we are seeing from the lead can endanger someone so it's quite disappointing. I like her character because she started out so bad ass but then she got all weak as if her physical strength weakens her mental strength does as well. I hope things will change soon or I will start disliking her. ML character on the other hand developing quite well, I am beginning to like him a bit more every episode. This is how I see character development should be. We, viewers, should like the main leads more and more with every episode.
In the novel i dont remember exactly but i think he find she was after him and she told him she was poison after…
Thanks for your time writing this but reading your writing I am at a lost. I have no idea what I've just read. LOL I have never seen paragraphs without any punctuations before. No offense. I actually think that it is quite funny.
I am running out of dramas to watch so I started this one. I like the first ep and I like both of the leads. But who the heck style for this drama? On episode 2 when ML showed up to his father's engagement party, that outfit with all that rhinestones around the neckline of a t-shirt...gosh... in the U.S this trend was a some years ago designed for Contemporary Women's brands then after a year or so it became more popular so fast fashion started utilizing this trend as well and so you could find similar stuff (cheaper materials of course) at discounted stores such as ROSS or Burlington, etc. And his coat with all that trim around the collar like it's from a vampire movie with those huge flowers embroidered on both sides. I am a fan of unisex clothing and some men can look great in anything and nothing has to be all macho for men, etc. But this is just not visually pleasing considering timing and scenario of the drama. Over the top, glitzy and all bling out do not represent high fashion. Then to the FL's dress, she came in a work suit then changed to a black , overly dramatic dress but then her hair was all professionally up-done with pearl tiara. What the f*** ? Anyhow, these are just examples, the main point is the styling and clothing in this drama are so outdated and overly dramatic, they look more like costumes instead of fashion. I can't continue watching this. Have to drop it due to the irritation of my eyes not to mention the ML has way too much makeup on, it ruins his good looks because he's good looking.
Everything is sort of unfolding and we are only at episode 26. According to dramalist there are 38. I am worried how much more crazy it gets. I can't deal with villains outsmart leads so many times and staying alive too long. It's too much stress.
Currently on ep 7I just know Jingshi is pure evil from the flashback. At first I was like, a romance between the…
I like the actor and he looks great in this drama but yeah his character sucks so bad. That country is so doomed with a crazy, sex addict king with an evil empress dowager. And the only hope left, prince Jing Shi turns out to be a weak, manipulated, pure evil guy. I hope the story will go into Suige becomes emperor and take over Zhennan by killing off all those yuckie people above.
