I mostly how skimmed through this drama after the first 10 episodes planning to rewatch it in full once it finished…
I have the same struggles with you regarding the back and forth of emotions. FL's feelings are so unstable to the point where she just turns on ML in an instant. It's a bit freaky and annoying. I like the ML though. And yeah, I wouldn't rate it too low either. After all, it's not that bad. But would I watch it again? No! Recommend to someone? Well, similar to the FL's, it will depends on how I feel at the time.
Dang after reading these reviews I am GLAD i am not the only one who felt such a way. Dropped after like the 9th…
I haven't dropped it but I am continuing to watch slowly, here and there whenever I run out of other shows to watch. I am sticking with it because I really like the ML.
Almost at the end. Appreciate Zhou Yi Ran's acting, he has levelled up with a complex character and doing it really…
I agreed with you too. In sadness, happiness, sorrow, anger, even when tears are rolling down her cheeks, her stares are the same. I like her in other dramas, I think she's great with comedy but when it comes to expressing many different emotions, I am disappointed as well because, personally, I just don't feel it from her.
I'm rewatching the ending of episode 19. Do you think Changyu overlooked the fact that the blue ribbon was gone…
I think she was still recovering so not all her thoughts were there but if you guys noticed, during the scene of the treatment with her husband, she wasn't completely out. At one point she even opened her eyes and looked at him. I think these moments will come back in her memory once she recovered a bit more. And then she'll be like "Why did you leave me again?" LOL
Unrelated to the drama: Am I the only one bothered by how the ML looks in the poster? it doesn’t look like him…
I don't. Most poster photos don't look much like what we see in the videos. Especially these days with AI and all. Gosh, I have a hard time recognizing my friends on Facebook by their photos.
This drama is good except for the second couple. The guy literally told her to cheat on her boyfriend to end the…
Agreed. Sin Ji Seon's reason for using cheating instead of just leaving is so that she doesn't go back to him. I mean, what in the hell is this reason? It doesn't make any sense to me. It's so freakin' stupid. I haven't finished the drama, but if the second couple gets together by cheaing then yeah, they won't be together too long. LOL Cheating is hurtful, disrespectful, and should not be forgiven.
I am on episode 6 now, and I have to get on here to let some thoughts out. I like that cast. I love the acting of both actors, as I've enjoyed them in their other dramas as well. I've seen many of the comments below, and this shows how everyone of us has our own language. I love the scenery in this drama, and I also like that we have a multi-language, cultural scenario here. I feel so much for the FL, but somehow I could not get myself to like her. Yes, she has mental issues, and in some ways, we all do. But her character is so weak, clingy, freaky, and at times annoying. I don't expect FL to be strong all the time, but I think in some aspects of her issues, I want to see something alluring about her personality besides her very captivating smile. And not just say whatever and apologize after. If I were in the ML's position I would be so afraid of her and would try to avoid her. I keep getting frustrated by her. How does she go all the way to Japan to confront a guy that left her (turned out that he cheated with her, not on her), then immediately fall for a guy you just met half a day? And worst, keeps on showing so much emotion while pushing herself onto him. Many of you will say it's her unstable mental condition. I do understand, but it's drama. I was hoping to see some encouragement for people who are in similar situations. I saw some comments about this being funny. I didn't smile or laugh once. And the split personality idea, I think, could be left out for this drama. It would have been more interesting if it just focused on self-development, overcoming a tragic past, and loneliness. Throwing a twist into this almost fluffy drama with such beautiful scenes from different countries, with a slight thriller in my opinion, makes it seem desperate. Instead of that, we could use some comedy. Such a shame, as this drama could have been much better. I am not sure if I will watch the rest of it, but if I do, I hope that everything I said above will get changed or resolved in the later episodes. Can this love be translated? Not at this point. Because I am not sure if the love is from Cha Mu Hui, or is it Do Ra Mi's?
Well said. It's a romantic drama after all. Without moments like this there won't be steps to lead to romance.…
Thanks. Everyone of us have different taste in entertainment but for me, I watch dramas to be transported to another realm outside of my own reality. I wanted to be entertained and not stress out or increase my blood pressure as well as my aging process. So yes, I hope this drama remains light with fluttering scenes that make us all feel like this world is beautiful and true love as such do happen :)
I don't understand why the FL does not notice that SML is no decent guy.
Perhaps he's her first love. Or at least a huge crush. Not many of us fall for the right one the first time around. But his stares give me chills. If this is the vibe the character gives off then the actor is very successful with his role.
I feel bad for him because he's dumb! The asshole is his childhood friend. That girl is so typical of a jealous little brat, a liar, and a manipulator. She's definitely not a decent person based on her comment about using FL to test out SML's personality. A calculative person like this is the one to fear. I can't stand people like her.
