I have a hard time understanding withholding this kind of critical information. Especially when she and her son are so close. And even more so when you are newly in a relationship with someone. It's better not to get in between this kind of situation. It's better to be unbiased, honest and available for support.

I guess I feel strongly about this because I come from a family that withholds information from each other until the situation is dire and then nothing can be done. All under the guise of, "protecting your feelings". They have gotten better with age, but it's a constant battle to get them to be open up. I think it's a generational thing.

You're right, but I think it varies by story. For example, in the epilogue of "Cozy Obsession" Huimin imprints with just his pheromones. Omegaverse is such a varied genre. I think it's up to the authors interpretation.

Based on my omegaverse knowledge, Shao You would be the reason Hua Yong became and enigma, right? Since Shao You is an S-tier Alpha and before HY presented as an Omega he covered him in his pheromones to calm him down. So either, HY imprinted on SY and that's why he has so many health problems, OR SY caused HY to present as not just an Omega, but an enigma level Omega.

Also, I like this version of Omegaverse where Alpha's are versatile. Other stories depict Alphas like insatiable beasts that should be allowed to treat people however they want. I love this more humane and "realistic" take.
