Ep 7: "Should I just ask directly?" YES! Ugh, two adults that can't have a conversation is so annoying. Can we get another storyline please. Their misunderstandings are really unrealistic. The indirectness doesn't match the personalities of the characters.
Same here... I am rooting for them. I couldn't tolerate Min Seong in season 2... so I was a bit annoyed seeing…
Agreed. Sun Woo's proactivity definitely got him noticed. BUT I had a feeling HyunJun was interested in Han Gyeol for a second. Because the he was following Han Gyeol around when they got back from the zoo and his face when Han Gyeol said he didn't like anyone in the room. THEN Hyunjun joined Han Gyeol's anonymous chat. But I giggle because Han Gyeol said in episode 1 that Hyunjun is dull. 😆

YES! He frustrates me so much. BUT he is really smart. I think he's a big observer. He needs someone who is outgoing but still able to let him be himself. HyunJun just isn't it., in my opinion. Neither of them will make a move because they are waiting on the other to make a move. 😁
I am rooting for Min Seong, but someone need to pull him aside to fill him in on the JaeHa situation. Watching…
You know, I THOUGHT he knew that something was up, but now I'm remembering he doesn't know. But yeah, someone should clue him in. BUUUUUT it's good to see Min Seong just going for it. Because we got NO emotions out of him in S2. So it's interesting to see his true nature coming out. It makes him more interesting. Before I just thought it was fake and returning with the same fakeness.

Yeah, I think Jaeha is learning a very powerful and painful lesson in valuing the people you care about and not tossing them aside. But also in really communicating with them your wants and needs so they can make decisions with you.
I think there "misunderstanding" was that Jaeha wanted to use the show to come out but also for exposure. So, when the show wasn't going to air, they all probably wanted to go back for that reason, since most of them just picked up where they left off. I think if Jaeha had a candid conversation with Hyeongjun and they came up with a plan, they could have entered the house and just continued to go for one another as a part of the plan. But doing it together. Unless Hyeongjun was just really against it, then Jaeha has to respect that and make his choice.
At this point, Hyeongjun still cares about Jaeha, but I don't think he should go back to him because Jaeha was careless with his feelings and just disappeared.. Like right now it feels like they can't even be friends.
And another thing... Jaeha was REAL arrogant in thinking he could just win Hyeongjun back. I think that is probably part of the reason Hyeongjun is treating him the way he is as well. He knows Jaeha is smuggly thinking he doesn't have options.
Although I have a lot to critique, I can't help but watch the show. (Nothing I say means I dislike any of the…
I just want to comment on "this format has done its time". I agree with you! The Boyfriend feels more authentic, they are together so much longer and they start to become friends and drop all of the pretenses.
Both seasons of The Boyfriend left me in tears because they each grew in different ways and seemed to leave with genuine friendships.
The 7 day format is rushed and you get the impression they are just trying to get matched up to "win" and not to genuinely make connections.
I'm really rooting for all of the couples. Especially Bomi and Huwei. With Huwei being an athlete with a chance to be on the Olympic team I could see that being a lot of pressure on both of them. I hope they lean into each other and support one another. To the whole cast, Fighting!
Right? He ain't slick. I think that's why he had issues the first season he was on and now. He's fake, he comes off superficial and everyone picks up on it.
Does anyone know the problematic guy who caused the reshoot? And what was the problem? I'm sure some of you have…
I was thinking the elimination was to keep the show interesting because they are all introverts. but Big Hyeok Jin is keeping things interesting. he's the perfect extrovert to keep everyone on their toes.
I make my stance on here for when the next episode comes out.Next week, If Hyunjun gifts Yunjae, I’ll be 100%…
I agree if HyunJun doesn't gift Sunwook, it's done. Sunwook should move on. I started to feel like HyunJun was a little interested in Han Gyeol after the zoo outing until Han Gyeol said he wasn't interested in anyone in the room. HyunJun looked a bit hurt. Han Gyeol did say HyunJun was dull in ep. 1 so he's definitely not interested.

I felt the same about Min Seong as well. But seeing him open up honestly was refreshing.
I'm glad Hyeong Jun is trying moving forward.
My baby Yun Jae!!! please don't hurt him.
Young Han Gyul on stage looking sad and Jae Gyu crying because he was growing up without his parents, gutted me.
The sister, Han Gyul's mom is trash.
