On Green Ausadaporn Siriwattanakul Nov 10, 2025
Absolutely LOVED her as Ramphueng in Khemjira. She is beautiful, even in nightmarish makeup, and her emotional range is amazing, the way she can convey so much in just a little change of her face. The scene where she saved that baby was supposed to make you empathize with her, but she accidentally made me fall in love with her too - so many times I caught myself saying "So what. Let her be mad. Let her kill everyone. She deserves whatever she wants, because she's sad." 😤

Om brought tears to my eyes in every scene she was in for Khemjira. She reminds me of my mom in a lot of ways, struggling but putting her child first, full of both hope for the future and regret for things not being perfect. I love when a mom is good and supportive and gentle, and Om made it feel very real.

There's nothing BAD about strong/weak dynamics. They haven't gone away whatsoever, there's just more variety because people have made it clear what they ALSO like. So make it clear what you also like, without being horrid about what you don't like - it's that simple.

Saying that you hate overly cute and effeminate male characters kind of sounds like you have some homophobia and…
Homophobes watch BL all the time, have you ever seen what happens when BL actors are rumored to actually be gay, or come out as gay? Anti-fans condemn them to hell, lament that they didn't find the right woman, that they need to 'keep it on-screen', et al. Many BL actors fear fan service for just this reason. If you don't know anything about the industry, don't speak.

It does help - to prove my point. People prefer for there to be a strong protagonist saving the weak & falling in love. There's nothing AT ALL wrong with that.

There you go, making up fanfiction about people again. Imagine thinking BL fans are voting for Trump? Are you dumb, stupid, or dumb?

Literally none of my favorite actors are involved here, so please stop making up fanfiction about me and spouting it as if you're some sort of authority. I am defending a character TYPE here - the cute and effeminate male who is so often hated by fetishistic straight women - not any particular actor.

Everyone who keeps these companies in business. If it didn't work, they'd go bust. But they're putting out a product we want. They're catering to the fans who pay the bills. If you want something different, find your people and lobby for something else. It exists - there are plenty of shows with 2 stereotypically masculine male leads. I like them as well. Go watch/praise them, show them that people who prefer those exist.

Imagine saying that when the 2002-2007 Spiderman trilogy exists in which MJ is the damsel in distress, to critical acclaim, in all 3 movies. I could post a list of books/movies that play into the damsel in distress trope that would make your head spin, but I won't bother. 50 Shades of Grey was critically acclaimed, by women. That's enough said I think.

OP literally said, "Furthermore, I've always hated overly cute and effeminate male characters." I think people like you need to learn to read before you start slinging unwarranted 'people like you' accusations around.

This is pretty much the formula for romance, gay or straight, from Beauty & The Beast to bodice-ripping novels for a reason - it's what most people prefer. If you want something different, go on the pages of shows that do it better in your opinion, and praise them. Support directors who make what you like. Shitting on what everyone else likes because it's not what you wanted is a choice, it's just not a useful, thoughtful, positive choice. You're 22, not 2. Tantrums aren't cute anymore.

I'm glad most people aren't biased against cute and effeminate males, it's really nice seeing portrayals of all different kinds of relationships & not just the palatable straight-women fantasy of 2 hot alpha males with no threatening femininity involved.

Welp, that didn't last long. He's got Uncanny Valley face now. Glad he can breathe comfortably of course, health beats attractiveness.

oh this aged bad😭
Just for the record: Thai actor Build Jakapan Puttha was proven innocent after accusations of infidelity and assault were made by his ex-girlfriend in early 2023. The accuser later admitted the evidence was fake, and an official statement from her confirmed the accusations were false. As a result, Build sued some accounts that spread further false claims and has continued his career as an independent artist.

Don't use 'cis' that way unless you want to lend credence to the idea that it's a slur. Your sarcasm, nasty attitude, and apparent sexism are probably why you'll never be famous - no one likes an a-hole actor.

I wanted Pin to get with Sanya 😭
I did too - at first. But then I realized I only wanted them together to wrap up loose ends and get Pin a happy ending - not because they actually had any chemistry or anything meaningful. Sanya's failure to ever make it clear how he felt until it was too late was not an attractive trait, and Pin's lack of any attraction to him whatsoever in all the time they've known each other is a boundary I have to respect.
