The writer is one of the writers in ‘sword and beloved‘. So I am really hoping that this writer is the one which wrote the first part of SAB. I just hope these are just small disappointments and it gets better as it progresses.

I hope she has a character development because the character is promising.

I haven’t watched the episode yet, so just my speculation. If she has gone to the military, I assume it to be under a fake identity. If it is so then why is she carrying her seal? not just based on this, but in general, I think the writer is trying to make her seem smart, but instead makes her very dumb.

I am behind 3-4 eps, how come she’s in a military/commander uniform? What just happened? I need to catch up quick.
Also, the rating dropped. It was 8.2, I guess when I last saw it. Seems like it’s going in a wrong direction.

agree with you. i am watching it till Chang Hua Sen is shown. even after that if i don’t feel connection, i had rather drop it. btw, haven’t watched MLC but will definitely give it a watch.

Everything about this drama is excellent, from the beautiful cinematography to the costumes and acting. However, I'm struggling to connect with the story. I'm currently on episode 12, and it has taken me about a week to watch just six episodes. I’m not sure why this is happening because I really want to enjoy it, especially for Luo Yun Xi.

they call him solider only. he inherited both his father and mother power. his mother knew that black fox will come back and that's why she made her unborn child a 'solider' who will inherit both family powers and kill demons esp black fox - his only goal in life. that's why she gave all of her power to him before she died, which makes him the strongest.

You can watch ep 1-17 or so - till village arc. Don’t continue when he goes to Wangquan manor after that it’s a downfall for me. Then you can start with ep 30. You won’t miss much and these eps are solid. Also, don’t expect romance between the leads. It’s more platonic romance. The main romance of side couples is within ep 18-28 arc but here the story seems to get lost and takes a very different turn.

They hugged in ep 35 :( You can watch last 3-4 eps they are good. Fugui dark side looks hot and his fighting scene is nice. We see more of Cheng Yi in these (like 90%😁)

Yes, i would really want him to portray such a role again, maybe for a longer duration. I got to know that in Immortal Samsara he has a little similar one, so i will definitely check that out later.

Yes, if we skip the sibling part, then it is a solid 8.5/10 for me. But sibling part really ruined it for me.

ep 18-28: siscon and beloved (totally skipable)
ep 30+: well only good thing was evil and hot fugui, and his fighting scenes.

Not a happy ending, but I won’t say it it’s a sad one because his purpose was to kill the black fox and sacrifice himself for the world and he did that.

what about whispers of fate? I’m on ep 6 and it looks good.

just completed watching ep 36, and i get it now but still do writers have to sacrifice her like that? she had so much potential. hope she was shown more powerful and had a direct role in killing the black fox.

he killed her? why? why they are taking this bad turn? only 1 ep and this is beyond saving.
Fugui as a villain looks hot but the writers made him killer his love with his own hands. wtf?!? since i know he will die, I’m glad because once he is sane i don’t think he will ever forgive himself and will live his whole life regreting and hating himself.
