I'm mostly frustrated, because Boston wasn't any worse than the others. Top cheated as well, Nick secretly recorded them, Mew threated Boston with another secret recording and did all sorts of other questionable things, Atom spread lies about him, Cheum falsely accused him, let's not even get into the mess that is Ray... And then his so called friends all abandoned him and even ruined his graduation. Boston apologized for what he had done wrong, the others didn't. If Boston deserved to be lonely, then so did everyone else. But no, they got their happily ever after while Boston got ostracized. He was left alone and then even left the country while the "real friends" remained and had a happy reunion (they did Nick dirty as well there, guess no one cared about him anymore...). In the end Boston was too slutty and too queer even for the series itself, so he had to go. It's not a good message if you ask me. It's like they're trying to tell you that you can be queer and messy, but only as long as you remain monogamous. If not? Well, you better leave the country I guess.

Well that was a disappointing ending. Especially how Boston's story arch turned out, simply doesn't sit right with me. Wanting to have an open relationship is totally fine and valid, but I guess that kind of plot was a bit too risky for GMMTV. So instead the character who was the most confident in his sexuality needed to be shamed and crushed and left abandoned on the side of the road. He's better off alone, Nick said. Why though? There are plenty of people out there who share Boston's point of view. I think a better message would've been to let Boston realize that Nick isn't the right one for him, but that he can still be happy in a relationship if he finds someone who truly vibes with him. But we didn't get any of that... Meanwhile the monogamous couples all got their happy ending and Boston ended up being nothing more than an afterthought for them. What a waste of a perfectly good character.

Well... With actors that young they'll either heavily censor the plot, which means it's not really Addicted anymore + I don't support censorship. Or they go through with the original plot, in which case it's a nope for me as well, because they failed to cast actors who're 18+ for a series that will definitely be 18+. At this point Taiwan is my last hope for a proper Addicted remake ;;

All in all a cute little romcom with some supernatural elements. I gave it 8/10 :)

This looks like a sanitized and heavily censored bromance version of Addicted, so it's a nope for me. Seems like the original will remain unmatched

I've finished ep4 just now and so far I really like this series. Only thing that's bothering me a little are the flashbacks, they're not needed, especially so early on. But I guess it's not a Thai series unless there are flashbacks lol

I'm kind of shipping Saengtai with Lomfon, they seem to be a better match tbh. Tai and Phat ending up together would be a bit too easy if you ask me. Soulmates don't necessarily need to be couples, they can be friends as well. Also it would be messy as hell if Lomfon and Tai get together with the other two guys around who would NOT be happy about it and I'm here for the drama and the mess XD

Nope. The cut version has the water splash, slap, then Nan kisses Mac and Mac turns his head away to end the kiss, that's it. But the uncut version has that second kiss were Mac actually gives in.

They extended the party kissing scene from ep 5 for example (Mac and Nan kissed a second time, in the cut version it was just one time). And I'm fairly sure they'll also add some new material for the DayItt bed scene in ep 7.

The uncut version is a lot better in my opinion (and not just because they added some additional smut scenes lol). There are new scenes that are important for the plot or make it easier to understand the characters. For example, Day and Itt are actually a little bit more reasonable/likeable in the uncut version and the relationship between Nan and Mac also gets explained better.

I for one am enjoying this show immensely. Maybe it's because the random scene cut and awkwardness mixed with action, funny scenes and sexy times speaks to my adhd brain or maybe I just enjoy a good trash watch lol The only real tragedy is that they messed up Frank's costume design, since he's actually quite handsome irl
