Such an interesting drama, but it could have been so much more. It had too much cuts and all the characters could be more developed, specially Yi Wu You, I really thought he would be a more relevant character. Even so, it is worth watching, I liked the whole idea of the drama, some different plots.

I think this drama has a different feeling about it and it's not for every moment. But I'm glad I gave it a second round, it's definitely worth watching.

I see a lot of compliments, but I'm in episode 3 and still not feeling it. Everything is so slow, I didn't like the actors, the bullying is all over the place and the production/costumes are bad. I'm intrigued by Gong Zi and Chang An and would like to know more about them, but not enough to keep watching.
I decided to rewatch this drama and it's just as I remember: An epic story with amazing actors, beautiful production and an OST to die for. Really, how can this be so good? It's unfair, everything else looks a bit dull after you finish it. It's one of my first Xianxias and still one of my favorites. It's forever in my heart. And Deng Lun is so perfect, I really would like to watch him in a Wuxia again, I'm so sad that we probably won't, but part of me still have hope.

Actually, one thing that always keeps me lost in the Chinese dramas is the amount of names for the same person (name, nickname, abbreviation of the name, title of something). But keep going, it's worth it!

He saves her life and help her one hundred times, really, almost every episode. She shouldn't be the very smar, cunning and strong general, that knows how to fight? Sometimes definitely doesn't look like.
I watched the first 5 episodes and put it on hold, even though I love the ML, the FL was so annoying. After some time I decided to give it a try again and I'm glad I did. The story became more interesting and she starts to be more serious, although keeps making bad choices. By the end of it I was satisfied with the story. It was a delight watch Li Hong Yi again, I can't get enough of him. I remember Zhu Zan Ji from Untamed, he is good as well, but its interesting that he did another very problematic character rsrsrs And congrats for the production of this drama, most of the things look very well made.
