Oh wow, you really went and made a whole new account just to start a hate train? That’s dedication — but not the kind you should be proud of. I checked your watch list, and surprise, surprise — zero dramas watched, just two shows rated below one star. Dear, if you don’t like something, just scroll past. No need to put in all this effort just to be salty. Go sip some tea, hydrate, and find a hobby. Peace out! ✌️
The Fox Clan story was devastating. Cheng Mei's fate, having to witness all her loved ones die one by one in front of her, was unbearably tragic. My heart aches for her-she's truly pitiful, carrying the weight of such immense sorrow.
And Bai Shuo-oh, the way she fell after Fu Ling shot her, desperately crawling on the ground-it shattered me. With that flasback TT ... showing how, in the past, her sister, ( Fu Ling, ) helped her stand up when she lost her balance. But now, Fu Ling is the one who brought her down. The irony of it all is agonizing.
Even though Fu Ling's actions are beyond redemption, I can't help but feel for her too. How will she handle the truth -that she killed her own father and hurt her own sister so deeply? That guilt is bound to crush her.
And Tian Hua and Mu Jiu-why did they have to meet such a heartbreaking end? Why couldn't they have a sliver of happiness? 😭
I'm sorry, but I can't really say I like Fu Ling right now in the story. She's far too ruthless for my taste. At first, I thought she would follow the typical trope of being the soft-hearted one within a group of morally grey or bad characters. But she isn’t like that at all, and I think that's what makes her even more compelling.
She's been raised in an environment where violence and killing are normalized, a means to achieve whatever you desire. It wouldn't make sense for her to suddenly hesitate or question her actions in such a setting. While this doesn’t justify the things she’s doing, it does make her behavior feel more realistic and aligned with the harsh world she’s grown up in.
And there’s no denying the impact she has whenever she’s on screen. Her beauty is utterly mesmerizing, and her acting is so convincing that it leaves me in awe. Even if I don’t like her actions, I can’t help but appreciate how well her character is portrayed.
