Yeah it’s a real bummer. I usually have a high tolerance and not super nit picky but it’s really quite bad for this show which is too bad. Because it really had the potential to be an excellent show.
I will say the one thing I did like in ep19 was the look on Yan’s face when he saw Jiang at his interview. That was priceless. and the look on Jiang’s face when 1) she realized who he was after looking at his resume and 2) at the bar when she realized she knew him in college and was a total b*tch to him back then too.
Anyone else annoyed that Lin Yi was barely in ep19? I know they are in the breakup phase but really? I hate it when the leads end up getting no screen time in later eps. Drives me kinda crazy bc the I’m watching the show bc of him and Esther.
At least in the ep20 trailer, there’s more of a focus. But I almost think this is a script issue. Or maybe more scenes of him at this stage in the story got dropped bc of all the editing.

I agree and came here to comment on this too. I don’t think it’s realistic that WZ would invite her. and if WMM was actually a respectable person that she’d go back. I get why she did what she did but it just showed her weak character and lack of loyalty. I think just pushed it down a grade for me.
