This is really sad and a great loss. Loved all his works and would periodically check for new shows. Was hopeful for a Season 2 of “The Art of Negotiations”. At least we’re getting “Love Doctor”. I shall miss his smile and talent. Blessings and Prayers to his family.
Enjoyable movie, but sad. It’s unfortunate what kids endure. Divorce is horrible on kids. And when parents hold onto anger and are selfish, they are bad parents, as were these. Families should be made to go through therapy before divorce, when kids are involved. Was glad to see the bride and son step up and voice their concerns.
Well... unfortunately that wasn't a happy ending in my opinion. Lu Qing really just showed up after years and…
I guess it’s all in the eye of the beholder. I saw an exchange of love between the two. In Ep 12, LuQing explained those unfavorable acts towards Xi Fan were to move away from his parents demands of marriage to the female, so he could marry Xi-Fan.
Haven’t a clue what everyone else was watching. Loved this drama and the acting was good. Yes, it was rural and slow, as generally found in such populations. It was frustrating that their timing was so off, but some romances are just that way, otherwise, we’d all be perfectly matched. Sometimes, we just can’t be fulfilled romantically thru k-dramas, so, we punished the show with bad press.
I cannot speak in Japanese, but if I could, I imagine I’d find the same meaning for the title, “Black Girl’s Talk”, as I do in English. The ownership is upon “A” Girl, and infers HOW she speaks, or her SPECIFIC TOPICS of conversations. Minimally, ought to be a picture of a Black girl. I’m surprised the actors accepted those roles.
I found this show to be entertaining and a very noticeably handsome casting group, males and females. For me, the unfavorable characters were Sarah and Yeon SIL. Adorable were Se Chan and Se Jong—remarkable great acting. Could have watched them forever. Madame Wang’s role by Hwa Yun, deserved an award. Loved the couple pairings, but didn’t enjoy the repetitive relationship angsts for each couple. The show could have been done in 30 episodes.
leaving outside the group of miserable people mass lowering the rating for this drama for reasons only their tiny…
Agree with your thoughts, especially about episodes. For me, 10-12, sometimes eight are all you need, when you remove the fluff and the "daydreaming/recall" scenes. Also, some people critique within the spirit they bring to a show. If negativity is their thing, that's what they see. If they don't like a certain genre, they give a lower rating— l've done that. So, I stopped watching or don't critique. Your review was an aid to me. Thank you!
Loving “The Village Barber”. Always great to see celebrities outside their elements, willing to humanize themselves. The first episode is hilarious, even the village citizens are entertaining, in their honest assessments. Sang Yi is naturally personable, while Bo Gum and Dong Yeon are seeking their footing. Was looking forward to this show and it did not disappoint this viewer.
I guess a good drama is just that, no matter the culture. However, I watch K-dramas for the difference, which…
Stopped “Lifetime “ 20 years ago—too many desperate, downtrodden, helpless women! Don’t watch Netflix that much, I’m primarily Viki tv for the Rom-Coms, Law, and some family dramas like “Iron Family.” The best ever. Occasionally, Action.
Tried to watch “CTLBT”, but it didn’t hold my interest. Intended returning, but now reading it has a horror slant. I’m declining. Just don’t do horror, fantasy, and thrillers well. Go Youn Jung is such a great newcomer, whose work I wish to support…I guess not everything.
Exceptionally cute baby, especially with selected shots. Some of these complainers need to get a clue about technology and recognize basically, they are playing with the baby—interactions parents do everyday with kids. Not that the baby is working so much, but filming a day of him running around and playing on the set. The most they had to do was change outfits, feed, or hold the baby. Regular, parenting events.
