I think Kazuto and Alan are still seeing each other, Alan just shared photos in his story with Kazuto and im not…
Now that’s what confuses me. Several admitted to being Bi. Today’s youths and young adults feel free to love whoever, without labels. They go back and forth. I would be hesitant to date someone like that, if I’d declared myself one way or the other. Being of a much earlier generation, my thinking is structured differently. How does one compete with the other? Or do they? That has just racked my old brain.

I hope everything work out for Taehon. He's such a lovely person. And even if the parrent situation doesnt go…
Hi S.P. Hopefully, once they see the show—if they’ll do that much—they will see their son’s pain and relent. Sometimes, its about parents protection opposed to acceptance. And sometimes, it’s about being entrenched into what “others” think! They will work it out, I’m sure, once they diminish their dreams for him, and let his surface.

I feel that Taeheon was so focused on his coming out and how he would appear on tv to his kin that he was more…
Me, too! Thought they might, but as you said, Taeheon was just preoccupied with his potential ordeal with his parents, he couldn’t look outward.

Yes! During the show, I never realized to what degree he was impacted, until the end. His entire life, has been immobilized, by fear of being seen: Discovered or to Self-expose? Even in the house, he created a small, controlled space, invisible at times. Can’t wait until August 3rd, to see who returns, and with what updates.

This show was well-done, and without excessive drama (we grew accustomed to Shun). Dai was my favorite, but Taeheon stole my heart. Prayerfully, he has been embraced by his parents, or they, in the midst of working through their biases and expectations. The bonding was pure and wholesome. Perhaps a lifetime of friendships. Can’t wait for Season 2. Now, on to Pachinko. Notified yesterday, this great show is finally returning. Serious issues, but great acting!

Honestly, I didn't really like Alan because he's the kind of person all over the place and in your face, and touchy…
Same here! He grew on me, but his desire was Kazuto, so he adjusted his “extra,” to meet the needs of Kazuto. It worked! I was surprised, that in the end, Kazuto finally took the initiative to express his feelings, then extended his hand for Alan to grasp. I’m anxious to see if their relationship grows.

As a DaiShun lover, I would agree with your perspective. I even said during watching the show that Shun is the…
Agree with you! Yes, he’s had trauma, but the behaviors displayed were power plays and manipulations. Dai was my favorite-a complete package for someone. Certainly, more patience than I could ever muster! Hope it works!

Well, you definitely keep me informed. I look for your responses. I like your realism. Glad they did this show!

I hope if there’s future seasons they keep this kind of quality. The Boyfriend was so wholesome and enjoyable…
We want more, because it was shorter. Those extended episodes become fillers, watered down, and garbage. For me, this was perfect!

Hi Claddagh, you know everything! Seemingly, you are the go-to person.❤️
On Pachinko Season 2 Jul 30, 2024
FINALLY! I thought I was hallucinating, when it popped upon my phone. In some comments, I’m reading sadness to come. The first season was about pain and triumph, perhaps the second season is the same. The one thing I know for sure, is that the acting was tremendous, the stories educational. I have been waiting for Pachinko, Season 2! Glad it’s here!

I don’t see that working, as Alan must give up his authentic self. After a while, anger and arguments. No one should be comfortable with a piece of a person. Eventually, that person loses him/herself.

I respect your stance, but oftentimes, those close to you are not always objective, afraid to make raw assessments, and sometimes, overprotective. There might be an exception, if the advising acquaintance is in the field of social services or mental health. In the end, it’s whatever gets the needs met, the job done.

Didn't he wrote the first anonym letter to Dai? It could be.
Gotta go back to review.

It does seem like a lot of people ignore the way Shun's been treating Dai. Dai and Shun are great together when…
Agree with you. Seemingly, Shun expects Dai to do HIS emotional work. Although, I like the entire house, I thought Kazuto is just a magnet, but found Dai to have the greatest sex appeal. His smile is simply adorable! Even Shun was attracted to Kazuto, at one time.
On The Boyfriend Jul 25, 2024
I’m just curious, from the time Kazuto walked in, I thought, what a cutie pie. He is observant, thoughtful, kind—and a darn great chef. He holds and covers emotions well. He’s always methodical. However, I’m starting to think that he’s into Dai, but holding off, because of the Shun situation. His hand shot up, when Dai asked for co-worker options. He appeared anxiously desirous of going. I went Hmmmm, that seems out of character. So, these next episodes will be interesting. Does anyone share that view?
