I feel for Yoo Ah In. For one he has these emotional issues and probably caused by past traumas. Secondly and…
Well stated! Some are missing the point. Jail is not the recommended treatment for substance abusers, but some get to those criminal elements of drug use, like doctor shopping, fake identities, purchasing from acquaintances. When all else fails, and realities are distorted, jail can be beneficial.

what are you talking about The US is pretty harsh to drug users when it comes to sentencing.
You’re dealing with semantics. In my initial comments, I mentioned “becoming sober.” He didn’t do that until he had structure…that JAIL provided! Btw, RDJr been rich all his life. Be well!

Jail saved Robert Downey Jr’s life; probably would have done the same for Michael and Whitney, when other avenues were not adhered. And you must separate abuse of the system vs a benefit.

The US is harsh to SOME drug users, contingent on zip codes and race. Reading about Korea’s system, on this medium, perhaps going to jail will save this young man’s life, and receive therapy in jail. If not provided, become sober enough to gain awareness of his needs. Too bad the dealers don’t get life!

I'm not surprised it's trending here in Europe. Both Jung Jungs fit more into the beauty standadrs of Europe by…
Could be that Jung Hae In is familiar to that population, due to his freelance modeling for fashion magazines and department stores. And yes, both are quite attractive! JHI presents kindness, that if you met him on the streets, he would acknowledge you.

Just finished this show, and liked it! Some people like drama and loudness, but that’s ratings, not reality. I liked how the cast played it. I thought Ji An discussed her issues too much, and I understood why Myung didn’t match with Hee Ram. Quite incompatible! He and Yeon ju were perfect together, I admire how he pursued her and kept his focus. He presented himself strong, mature, capable and confident. Hope they are still together.

I think Kazuto and Alan are still seeing each other, Alan just shared photos in his story with Kazuto and im not…
Now that’s what confuses me. Several admitted to being Bi. Today’s youths and young adults feel free to love whoever, without labels. They go back and forth. I would be hesitant to date someone like that, if I’d declared myself one way or the other. Being of a much earlier generation, my thinking is structured differently. How does one compete with the other? Or do they? That has just racked my old brain.

Hi S.P. Hopefully, once they see the show—if they’ll do that much—they will see their son’s pain and relent. Sometimes, its about parents protection opposed to acceptance. And sometimes, it’s about being entrenched into what “others” think! They will work it out, I’m sure, once they diminish their dreams for him, and let his surface.

Me, too! Thought they might, but as you said, Taeheon was just preoccupied with his potential ordeal with his parents, he couldn’t look outward.

Yes! During the show, I never realized to what degree he was impacted, until the end. His entire life, has been immobilized, by fear of being seen: Discovered or to Self-expose? Even in the house, he created a small, controlled space, invisible at times. Can’t wait until August 3rd, to see who returns, and with what updates.

This show was well-done, and without excessive drama (we grew accustomed to Shun). Dai was my favorite, but Taeheon stole my heart. Prayerfully, he has been embraced by his parents, or they, in the midst of working through their biases and expectations. The bonding was pure and wholesome. Perhaps a lifetime of friendships. Can’t wait for Season 2. Now, on to Pachinko. Notified yesterday, this great show is finally returning. Serious issues, but great acting!

Honestly, I didn't really like Alan because he's the kind of person all over the place and in your face, and touchy…
Same here! He grew on me, but his desire was Kazuto, so he adjusted his “extra,” to meet the needs of Kazuto. It worked! I was surprised, that in the end, Kazuto finally took the initiative to express his feelings, then extended his hand for Alan to grasp. I’m anxious to see if their relationship grows.

Agree with you! Yes, he’s had trauma, but the behaviors displayed were power plays and manipulations. Dai was my favorite-a complete package for someone. Certainly, more patience than I could ever muster! Hope it works!

We want more, because it was shorter. Those extended episodes become fillers, watered down, and garbage. For me, this was perfect!

On Pachinko Season 2 Jul 30, 2024
FINALLY! I thought I was hallucinating, when it popped upon my phone. In some comments, I’m reading sadness to come. The first season was about pain and triumph, perhaps the second season is the same. The one thing I know for sure, is that the acting was tremendous, the stories educational. I have been waiting for Pachinko, Season 2! Glad it’s here!
