I mean I managed to FF and watch at 2x , but wtf they are still drying to drag in episode 22 with another blindness twist, what a waste of potentially good first 8-10 episodes , if a Cdrama can make a case for less than 20 episode this would be the one , because this is like watching naruto fillers as middle arc and not even expecting a similar level high impact kushina arc:D

I mean it's appalling to see how fucked up this rating is, I am not saying this is the best show , but the only major thing this show was lacking in was the budget ( which is way lower than s tier dramas). But wew this had way better story than those so called s tier dramas and better soundtrack than most of those.Even acting was pretty decent , not sure how bad the moderators are here but how the fuck is this "7.6" at the very least it should be 8.2 or something, even that no story merry go round and racist trending kdrama is now rated 8.4.I mean I don't see any negative comments here but somehow they have manged to make the rating so low. And this seems like among the only 1 or 2 shows this year where director knew how to end the story.(other than logical loopholes originating from story and its surprising how we need to appreciate even these endings for cdrama.

Again I only had the problem with it being rated 8.5, its goof but thts all, a great show needs many elements and to be with 8.5+ rated show , wew this lacks more than few elements. Again it had a refreshing (even though old trope) start but as the ratings are starting to show it kept doing same thing and hence deserving a 8. Which for me is a good rating for a show like this.

I would still say that is still a little high, but I guess being on Netflix does help:D

It has to be special to receive 8.5+ rating, this is exact copy paste of 100+ dramas + decent chemistry. I never said it was bad I said it didnt deserve such high rating. If you want to try just try binge watching this and you will understand what its lacking. The reason people are able to ignore its shortcoming is bcz its 2 episodes per week , making it hard to realize same shit is going over for 10 episodes (literally no plot movement ) .

Definitely doesnt deserve the 8.5 given here, its decent but wew other than the chemistry (better than avg) there is nothing special about the show. 8 might be better overall rating for this one

No idea why people are disspointed by the ending, I think for a change that was dreaming trope end done right (if it was one). I think other logic missing here and there and how exactly parallel world appeared there, I dont think much was wrong with that ending, even last scene with him with the book with the same name as show doesnt exactly prove that he was dreaming for sure, it could be he wrote his own story. Agreed it wasnt a or above tier show but it is better than lot others, I believe a rating around 8-8.2 would be better indicator of the quality of the show.

Depends , if u want to story to go in a way you want then yes maybe, but this was a logical way to end things without any illogical mess that typical asian dramas have to pull off, was it perfect? No but atleast it made sense and also "shadow" was never meant to follow the main op role , it was a supporting role for the northern star aka light. There are many small inference throughout the 2 seasons and 2nd season was made to focus more on the choices made by the 2 characters and how it closes the story all together. Yes , it wasnt as good as season1 but again season 1 and 2 is the schedule they adopted, actual story is 1+2 maybe if they combined both into one people wouldnt see this like this. For me it wasnt a typical braindead asian drama it has a good story building and behind the scene mysteries and closed in a decent manner, its very hard to find any Asian dramas that checks all the boxes.

please try watching again you seemed to have skipped many plot points that were explained in season 2. In s2 she was not a op character just a priestess with a power to fuck around stone. (She lost Naksu's powers and this was explained so clearly in the show)

For all those who think Naksu was made weak or didnt use her powers in 2nd season: If you had watched the show with a little bit more attention you would know she didnt had Naksu's powers in season 2, the only thing she had was Bu Yeon powers which in all its glory was just fucking around the stone. Its exactly like how Mudeok was strong but had a weak body. I do agree season 2 wasnt as good as season 1 but nonetheless stop using wrong arguments. I agree it was a little draggy with little to no surprises but in another way it was much calmer way to finish things after solid season1 ending. The story behind the changes was explained properly and made sense. Atleast we didnt get shitty Cdrama kind of endings or other east asian drama ending where they fuck it all up in last few episodes.
