its slow burn at the start, you wont appreciate it now but when u reach like 17-18 episodes you wil realise it was needed and then when u reach end u will realise this was the best part, i really think core story here wqs strong just the direction or speed or whatever falls off first slightly after like 20 episodes , then quite a bit after 28-30 episodes.

I mean the better thing about that one is he suffers way more but nothing cause of stupid fl, and from the start to finish his character grows and remains on track to his objective, unlike here where ml is reduced to literally catering to fl from very ealry to almost 26-28th episodes, but then that story is literally all about his revenge and romance is little extra that was added . From neutral stand point if you looking for story then go for that one, if you dont mind stupid representation of relationships that cdramas do these days you can go with this one, rest all is fine here

The way people appreciate the male leads reduced to having a life only around the fl is crazy, it was crazy when it was other way around and its even crazier how it is now in these dramas, havent completely watched the show yet only at episode 26 but man oh man how they reduced the ml to be always asking forgiveness etc when the actual dmg is being done by fl to him all the time, even with the script etc its crazy how its fine for a female to not care and when a male character does the same its a red flag , I mean cdramas really dont understsnd ( I have to beleive people here dont as well as how they appreciate this) what all feminism was all about. Its crazy lvl max. Overall show is fine but this glaring same concept being used everywhere now is crazy. Show already has mroe rating than it deserves and people here hoping for it to rise further xd, the show dragged same thing for almost episode 26 with no remorse even after reducing the ML to a commoner oof

yes, lol the amount of effort you put just to make a stupid point says it all, i was talking about overall rating and no falling into your smile is not a 9 rated show but its my own gradient rating system 10 is must watch and 9.5 is somehting that was overall great and I couldnt stop myself from bing watching 9 is a good but unique show, and 8.5 is thr bare minimum I give for a good show and that is what I would give to this . I do this is bcz mdk has skewed rating system where even bad ones can have average rating of 7.5 so thats all about that. Coming back to main point, I nvr singled out 1 person rating rather I talked about relative rating( and overall rwting) basically comparing on the same benchmark as other shows being rated here. I never even said this was a bad show I only said if anyone can tell me if its get better while pointing out the things I didnt like till the point I have reached. Pls stop fangirling on stuoid things and answer only if you get the logic someone is trying to conveying. Oh wait, my bad you dknt understand logic hence fangirling this show( to which my only issue rn is nonsensical logic that have appeared in last 3-4 episodes and is common in cdrma but not a 9 rated one.)

lol just fyi idk how some people here read it but I dont think double is anyway worthy of 8.9( for me its 8.1-8.3 category show) or somehting of a rating for me that was too overrated if people can think outside of hormones, it lacked good storyline tok much unrealistic things etc. Itwas a decent show with good entertainment and hormonal values:D. For this one, I just wanted to understand that post boya event too much unrealism is happening here ( literslly leaking secrets etc with other party knowing and still doing nothing while losing or not gaining territory etc and let me guess he will lose xiogang later for wht has been done) , so I just wanted to understand if the show continues on this path or there are actual reason and character development from both side that made people love this show. Also I think this one rated 6.4 on douban ( again not sayin g any ceiteria to judge a show just a signal to me that maybe there is reason why people didnt like the show there)

Here is a question, I know its rated 9 and I am on episode 13 but I am failing to see why ( honestly even double seemed more intriguing to me by episode 13 , and ginestlt tht show lacked a actual story it was theme done correctly but still.overrated). My issue people see realism here which in all honestly too unrralistic even for a cdrama ( uptill this point, it might not be the same later and maybe thts why its 9, idk right now its 8-8.2 show at max ).
For example, in no way its possible that FL keeps using him to an extent where he even knows and she still keeps smacking him for somthing like reading her letters. I mean why wouldnt he when you literslly keep saying I will always be a qiao. And on top of tht let alone ML , his whole entrouge keep.ignoring ( while everyone knowing that she is literally trying to extract best for qiao and leaking secrets night and day) , I mean in any era let alone in a historical era this wont be possible. Yes she has helped them but tht doesnt allow you to keep using others to maximise your profit , while it may harm other party in long term/short term, while living with them and even then blaming them when they dont treat you fairly/justly. Like this is way over the top, thats my take uptill now , I can see why people might like it and I do beleive its core story, acting has so much potential , but few things seem to me too be too unrealistic and weirdly nonsense that I really hope this show does improve these things going forward. So does it get better , or this is going to be an annoying journey in that aspect, I am fine with good chemistry but tht alone ( or maybe over the top women empowerment ( although i dont even understand how this is women empowerment?)that people here seem to love) doesnt make me feel like clicking for nxt stop.
To be honest, I mean for ex guardians of dafeng I intially thought was jsut cringe comedy was so nicely done kater that you start to realise why you came to cdramas, this show for me rn is opp.it started great but logical chracter dev or even things making sense me , doesnt seem to br on the plate.

I mean out of the two most people will find FL annoying, I mean the character made up is annoying (nvr really apologises sincerely, jumps to conlcusion, blames other easily), But I agree it has been done in a way that its the least annoying this build up can be. Agree with ML character display being inconsistent but then tht character itself is more acceptable, so doesnt come out that strong, just tht the changes are sometimes odd.

well immortal samsara had a pretty good ending if you consider the extra. To me it concluded perfectly and if its anything similar (hopefully not exact same thing though:D) I would be pretty happy.

I wilm tell you why, because they presnted general as ruthless and cold character and then turned him into a simp. This is a GEM of a show!!! What a start to 2025 (the other 2 xianxias seem great as well but not as unique as this one) after a sad 2024. Truly unique and nicely directed to create a rather gem without much romance involvement and making cringe things still look so good!

Actually, he became weak because of the possessions, and this was clearly showed in the story , the more he possesses someone the weaker he becomes, it's a sad trade off:D

Wasnt this supposed to be 2 episodes per day kind of schedule and ending by Nov 11, they seem to have changed it to one per day for most days and then only reach till episode 24th by Nov 10th, starting to juice it out for the $$$$
