It is such a shame that the ending feels so rushed
I think this drama was cut short cause all the tension that they created with the uncle was resolved in like seconds. The second leads are barely leads, especially Sanghyeon. He is such an interesting character but they didn't develop his story. Again, such a shame😔
Can anyone summarise the first 4 episodes for me? aka the romance and chemistry between Baek A Jin and Yun Jun…
They have a lot of chemistry and I guess you could say that there was romance in a very gigantic red flag way. I know this is labeled as Romance but I don't think there's going to be a "healthy romance" between the leads. First 4 episodes were insanely good, if you enjoy very dark grey area dramas you are going to like it, if not, this is not for you
I am on ep 5 and I'm really liking this drama. One thing is that it feels so so familiar, as if I already watched a version of this story a long time ago. Does anyone know if this is a remake of an older drama/non-korean series, or if it's from a book? Or if it is very similar to another drama(s)? So far I feel like I know 90% of the story and I'm pretty sure I didn't hit my head and forget that I already watched this a month ago
In ep 5: The way Woo Joo reacted when Me Ri said that he needed to give back the food that he ate made me love him 200 times more. That is so my type of joking/teasing... *Internally screaming that I love that man*
I have to say that I really like the leads, even with all the cliches that have not ruined my enjoyment of this drama. Up until now, very well done.
(Up to ep 5) SUPER SPOILERS
-Evil uncle hired a hit man to kill the parents, and possibly wants to take down Woo Joo, because he wants to take over the company/group/all-that-granma-has-build. He is hungry for power/money, they have already shown that he embezzled the money and then killed the worker and blamed him for the embezzlement. (Scrap what I said before, he definitely would take Woo Joo down when he feels like it is needed. I don't think the aunt and the cousin are involved but I don't think they would mind... idk, maybe the cousin would bc he showed a little compassion for Woo Joo but he would not go against his father) -I would not be surprised if Sang Hyeon is the boy who was playing the piano with the doctor. I think they are doubling the "known from childhood" trope.
I really enjoy some (kind of a lot) of parts but with the main plot I was like: WTF is happening?? It was fine... honestly, I don't regret it but I am not watching this again even when I'm a fan of Kim Woobin and Suzy's chemistry
the way i see it, it's all on minjoo. like what kind of grand act of rejection are we supposed to have? even minjoo…
Even though I agree that Minjoo is the source of the problem, Yoonjae is also a problem. Yes, he has rejected her but he still treats Minjoo with familiarity; he knows that Minjoo's approaches hurt Jieun, who has voiced it several times. He needs to be a lot firmer with the rejection and put it on more words than "I have a girlfriend" and say "I am putting a boundary and you're not respecting it, I am not interested, your behavior makes me feel uncomfortable and it's disrespectful to my girlfriend" and actually stop spending time with Minjoo at all, yes she is his club mate but I would treat her with profesionalism only. Sadly, I would even say that he kind of brushes off every time that Jieun has been confrontational with Minjoo, or he hides behind her
I think she died before the movie premiere so she wasn't able to watch it and was not able to attend any awards but it's all up to interpretation cause they didn't show exactly when she died
I have to say that I really like the leads, even with all the cliches that have not ruined my enjoyment of this drama. Up until now, very well done.

Well done Yoo Jung Hoo!
