So what decent son puts his mother in handcuffs? While Cha Rim has become more likable, Mu Rim hasn't improved…
To me Murim reaction was not overboard, if you think it through he is the one who is gonna get the worst part, he is a cop who just married a cop whose mom is also a cop and his boss, by stealing all that money they just ruin his life, his career is gonna go to trash and his marriage is probably going to end, all because association, yes his mom is definitely going to jail and his grandparents may end up going too but they are the ones who decided steal not he, and now he is an accomplice cause he found out and didn't arrest them right away. Besides that, you can tell from the beginning that the family dynamics were messed up, Murim and Charim were clearly emotionally neglected by both of their parents and maybe their grandparents, and later their mom really focused on Darim because of her vision impairment, to me they were trying to get free, Charim by moving out and Murim by getting married and moving out
I yelled at my TV "HIT HIM WITH THE F****** CAR!!!" about 10 times. My bet is that Hee Joo is somehow related…
I'm so pissed right now (I just finished ep 11) I was screaming YOU ARE IN A F ING HUGE WEAPON AND YOU DECIDED TO STEP OUT OF IT! WTF SAEON!!
I was also thinking that he said that ML and FL were related and I had flashbacks to another drama that did the same thing (not gonna name it cause spoiler)
Why did you prefer the SML over the SFL? What did she do that was so bad and what did the SML do that was so good?
(For context: SML has liked SFL since forever but they don't have a romantic relationship, the SFL is not interested in him in that way) In ep 30 the SFL finds out that the man she has had a crush on for like 10 years is getting married to his childhood sweetheart, so she goes home, gets drunk and then asks the SML to marry her, he is confused and says: you are drunk. She proceeds to say very rudely: haven't you liked me for a long time? and that this is his only chance, and when the SML asks her something like: If there was another man standing here, would you still ask the same thing? and she replies Yes. Like WTF is wrong with her?... Later on they "broke up" (yes, the SML ended up saying yes and they got married) and she was like Whatever until she found out that the thing that made her "fall in love" with the first guy was not him but the SML, of course now SML is valuable so she is out to fight for their marriage, and sure because she cannot have a proper conversation with somebody who she has known for the majority of her life she has to "trick" him so he doesn't divorce her (honestly I don't know very well how that went, I was skipping because I can't stand her)

SML is a good guy overall. He's loyal and takes good care of the people around him. I would even say he is too good. He does things that are detrimental to him but help FL and SFL. The SFL at first was just a character that I didn't really care much about, nothing against her, I did even feel bad cause FL did some shitty things to her, and THEN she did something that enraged me (I'll give the spoiler) and I was over with her, I dislike her from that point on even after their "happy ending" I was like: nop, he deserves better.
so you telling me after all that angst and sadness she didn't end up with him and everyone go to another direction…
I would say is a little ambiguous. It looks like they end up together but I'm not really sure. Btw I would say it is a happy ending either way they end up together or not. This drama feels very realistic so if you don't like slow-paced melodramas/slice of life, I'm not sure if you would enjoy it.
Even though I liked the drama I didn't really enjoy the romantic relationship between the leads. Loved the SML but I cannot say the same about the SFL🙂. Didn't like the ending, It just didn't make sense to me
Can we talk about that marriage proposal from Zhao Yang? I could not believe that she proposed to Yang Jian out…
I didn't really like her before and with that scene, I was completely done with her, I celebrated when they broke up and was so disappointed when they got back together. Btw when she asked for the restaurant and the company I was losing my sh*t
My top 3 participants are Yuna, Iyul, and Gubong. Haven't watched everything yet, but these people are really…
Same, but in a different order: Iyul, Yuna and Gubong. I just finished watching episode 6 and those 3 seem like the kind of people I want to be around. Especially Iyul, I am here "whining" about when I can get an Iyul delivered to my door cause I don't want to go out to look for one😅
I love this drama, even more after watching ep 11 & 12. Last week with ep 9 & 10 I was very confused cause I couldn't understand Hye Jin and all the schoolteacher thing and I was afraid that the show would go south. I am so glad that it didn't and I think that I get why Hye Jin was acting like that in the previous ep, also the arguing scenes were amazing, the dialog, the acting and the directing.. just amazing, I was so tense that I stopped breathing at some point and I was just froze as I watched them

I should have waited till tomorrow!!
The power of fiction I guess
