after 11 eps, I think the real problem is the two villains SJ and JRF. i don't know how it compares with the manhua or donghua. Guoguo is doing a better job being villain than those two.

to be fair, it's the first part of the trilogy. These episodes are setting up the backstory, and no one been acting like NPC. so glad for that! and i think it's picking up since ep 7. imo, FL seems to be softer now
