I wonder how long we need to wait for something like this again. Like, a fantasy series in its own world with awesome-looking sword combat, beautifully shot, well acted, OST that keeps you in limbo, an engaging story, and a VERY hated bad guy xD
Yeah... the second season is a bit of a letdown and feels very rushed, especially if you binge-watch it right after the first. It is what it is, and it feels much better on the second rewatch.
It’s hard to watch .Prime Videos subtitles are missing and/or out of sync. As much money as Jeff Bezos makes…
English subtitles? Did it start after you tried to skip back/forward by any chance? Maybe the device you watching on is outdated a bit. My old phone does that sometimes, need to skip back a few times to fix it. Or just a bad internet connection. Never had a problem with Prime Video while watching on a PC with a stable internet connection. 8 episodes in and no "subtitles are missing and/or out of sync" with English subtitles in the EU region.
I'm really not sure why she cried when he saw her fiance with her stupid bitch friend. Isn't the whole point of…
Well imagining it one thing, witnessing it in real life even 10 years earlier... there wasn't enough time to process it back in 2023. The betrayal feels real. It hurts. I don't think a good person could look at it with a straight face.
I feel like many people are too focused on the revenge. Like, both the title and synopsis suggest it is more like a "Uno reverse card" type of story, rather like cold revenge. Characters are softer and writing focuses more on characters too. Sure, I would love to see more intelligent play like it was with the "Screaming Director" and "Saliva Fingers" manager. And holly frack, Soo Min... But I don't mind cautious pacing at all, and I don't think I will be disappointed if the main plot ended up being focused on the main leads overcoming their struggles. Characters growth. It looks fresh.
For cold revenge, there is "The Glory" with a girl on a war path. For the almost immediate transformation from "Zero to Hero", there is "Perfect Marriage Revenge".
Webtoon readers might correct me, maybe there is Revenge on the horizon. But I enjoy a more grounded/mature (-ish) approach so far. I like reading character faces and their subtle and not so subtle facial expressions. Waiting for Mondays is new for me too xD
Actually I found that Spring Day thingy kinda cheezy so I was glad it wasn't the male lead. He can do his proposal…
But "Spring Day" means nothing to Min Hwan (they are in 2013) and he is broke. So the title of the song from 2017, and the reaction from Gramps and U&K Aerobotics suggests that it was Ji Hyuk's doing. The drone part itself probably was a surprise for Ji Won. And with the proposal part, they probably come up together while playing with valerian-overdosed cat. To make Soo Min jealous and provoke her. Which is worked. The Dron Show is something new for 2013 and definitely expensive. Kinda a bit different approach from the original Nutella proposal.
I wished they just went with the D.I.D instead of being possessed with a spirit. for him to be able to become…
It is a fantasy show, so nothing really stops them from becoming one in any shape or form. I feel like you already can see Ak Hee's influence on some of Sajo Hyun's decisions. Plus Kyera makes him stronger too. Like, even without spoilers from Webtoon readers, I think it is safe to assume that they will become one, by some magic crap or just learning from each other. So I don't think you should be worried that it is possession and not D.I.D.
Well, you also can ask webtoon readers how it was if you want. Personally, I prefer to stay "clueless" but certain things/twists are kinda obvious or expected.

Any insiders in the comment sections? xD
Em... Standard throne and power above anything else? Also, she is scared of humiliation.
