Also after the next episode teaser, I was thinking Hyun Woo and Hae In should come up with a password or something, if something like this happens again, maybe it help her figure out who is real.
And it is kind of funny for me, I usually not invested that much in the shows, and here I genuinely just wanna help xD Good stuff.
Many people are impressed by the hallucination scene. And yes, it was beautifully done. However, almost every sound, action, and word was a clue... But the thing that bothers me the most is that the road is wide and he could just hit reverse, lol. Dude, had options, but the rule of cool won here.
Imagine if people actually properly communicate with each other... Rather than making assumptions and keeping it all to yourself... That would be a very short show xD
It's nice to see how much people love this show in real time because once it's done the "overrated" comments will…
Well, we are only halfway through. And the last 4ish episodes still can lead to major disappointment. Sticking the landing is the hardest part.
I was pleasantly surprised they revealed bad guys in the middle of the season. Leaving 8 episodes to clean the mess. Now they can show us a more thoughtful and harmonious ending, which is a far better option than speedraning it in the last 2 episodes, imho.
Have they explained yet what Tae Oh's original goal with all this was? I keep checking back because it's literally…
From the first episodes, I thought Tae Oh wanted power and money to protect his mom, so she could stop hiding. And in Hye Won's case, she wanted to cut ties with her mom. Basically, become so rich that you are untouchable. I still think that was the original motivation for these two, but there is no confirmation/explanation from the writers yet.
"Morally grey" is far more interesting (to me, lol) than perfect heroes/heroines. I love a good mixture of business…
I think only modern Hollywood rookie writers are interested in Mary Sue/Marty Stu characters. I'm not saying they need to be perfect, but it felt that there was not enough good in them to be rooting for. The second episode made me warm up a little to FL. Both leads care about each other but forget about it (distracted) for some reason, or writers go with the "reigniting flame" trope. Personally, I would rather watch them open up to each other and clear the air, so to speak. And realize why they care.
So basically, it's a Korean version of HBO's Succession. Everyone is crazy and rich, crazy rich or crazy for riches. Can't say there are any wholesome characters, everyone is morally grey at best. You can see where it's going but will it be entertaining is hard to tell. They probably lean more on romance rather than the business aspect. As of right now, it seems only FL deserves some compassion and there is more to her story. I understand why ML is like this right now, but yeah... I can't simply overlook certain actions/decisions... Well, maybe because of my trust issues.

Well, the easiest assumption is that In Ha and Hye Won. If so, I think, Jang Geum Suk, who framed him.
It also can be his "father's" revenge, who found Tae Oh's mom and got out of prison. In that case, bodies can be someone else.
In Joo might be the one who framed him too.
My only hope is that the female is not Hee Joo. And it all ends on a somewhat positive note.
