Strong start. Light, stylish, funny, and adorable. Very terrible last 4 (or so) episodes. Where cunning and intelligent characters dumb down to plot-driven empty shells dolls. I have zero complaints about the actors, I saw all the emotions that need to be seen. I think writer Choi Ah Il is good at comedy but desperately needs help with the drama part. Overall, it was a bittersweet experience, that left you rather disappointed because of wasted potential on the drama part.
Kinda reminds me of british "The IT Crowd" and american "The Office". Don't mind watching a couple more seasons if they make more. Light, sweet, will squeeze a few laughs.
if I'm at the palace to kill the king, with hundreds of guards ready to kill me if they catch me, I'd love to…
With all due respect, I feel like you are making an excuse for his inappropriate behavior. He did that not to save her. He was jealous of Sajo Hyun. From 1 episode around 49 min mark: - Are you serious? Do you really prefer the guy at the drapery over me? - Yes. - How come? Why? - When I saw you at the drapery, you had some kind of an aura. - What about now? - Right now? This thing and this thing (points on the mask) does not fit. You seem fake for some reason. Go back to the drapery, Young Master, this is where you belong. - F-fake... Fake? I have never seen anyone who prefers the half-wit Sajo Hyun over me. Then later conversations in the library. And at the end of the episode: - You will realize I'm real, you will end up liking me.
Both, the bodyguard and eunuch do not approve of what Ak Hee did (but they are on Sajo Hyun's side) and Kyera herself says she will not forgive him for erasing her memories. But okay.
I'm having a hard time letting go of the fact that Ak Hee drugged and erased Kyera's memory, and pushed her into a relationship by lying. And I'm baffled how many people are okay with it now, to be honest.
No idea how it was in Webtoon but that rapy intent doesn't sit right with me. He is not someone I can consider a good character after that. Consent is important, you guys...
Su min is literally trash personality and FL tolerating her untill episode 5 and didn't take any first step for…
There is no problem with her motivation, she has plenty of that. The thing is, they have shown and told us a few times already, that you need to be careful while changing things. Some things are inevitable and some changes go without a hitch. Her hurting knee in a different accident, scar from boiled water now on Ji Hyuk's hand, stock thing. Rules are unclear right now, so she is extra careful. At least I interpreted it this way. Plus just general trauma/shock I think is still there too.
