This was truly the Crown Prince’s fault. He was destined to be king, the rightful heir once their father passed, but he had no patience and instead killed his own father to seize the throne. At the bridge scene, if only he had listened to ShuHe’s desperate cries to let him and Duan ZiAng go, they could have escaped to the quiet woods and lived a peaceful life together. But the Crown Prince’s greed consumed him. Rather than give his brother that chance at happiness, he chose to strike, even if it meant killing his own blood. He was the one who attacked first, and in the end, he brought his fatal death upon himself.

Yes, I 100% agree with you. The Crown Prince killed his own father, and his next target was ShuHe. If Duan ZiAng hadn’t stopped him, it would have been ShuHe who died. In many ways, ZiAng was protecting the man he loved. Instead of reacting in anger and stabbing him, ShuHe could have stepped back, given them both time, and allowed their love to heal.

But even if we imagine that perfect scenario, what then? ShuHe would still have been crowned king, yet he was never born to rule. As ZiAng himself pointed out during the war, when the southern people welcomed their army, it was clear ShuHe could not truly lead a kingdom he never intended to govern. And even if ZiAng had not attacked, another ruler eventually would have. ShuHe’s kingdom was destined to fall, no matter what.

I get where you’re coming from, but I actually think that’s the whole point of ShuHe’s character. One of the episodes even mentioned that he was born to play music and dance, not to be an emperor. He never truly wanted the throne, but circumstances forced him to take over and carry that burden.

And as for Duan ZiAng, try putting yourself in ShuHe’s shoes. Imagine someone killing your own brother right in front of you, no matter how cruel or psychotic that brother may have been. It’s not something you could easily accept, even if deep down you loved Duan ZiAng.
ShuHe isn’t weak, he’s just a man torn between duty, grief, and the love he can’t let go of. That’s what makes his struggle so heartbreaking to watch.

Am I the only one who loves this show? The writing may be poor and the plot weak at times, but not every BL needs to be perfect to be worth watching.

I really love both couples. Kan and Per confessing their love in the tent was so sweet, and Mid forgiving Knight so they could finally become boyfriends truly warmed my heart.
The acting is also really good between Mon and Pak. Mon is hilarious, and the way he gets so jealous and obsessed with his doctor is honestly the cutest thing ever. Both brothers being completely obsessed with their doctor boyfriends makes the title Doctor’s Mine make perfect sense now.

I honestly enjoy this show. Sometimes a simple story can still be a good one. That’s why it makes me sad to see so many negative and hateful comments. Imagine the actors who worked so hard, pouring their blood, sweat, and tears into their roles, and the hundreds of staff and crew who spent hours and hours bringing this show to life. Reading those harsh comments must be heartbreaking for them.

Victor feels more like a younger brother or a student. Trin, in the role of his professor or older brother, naturally carries the responsibility to protect and guide him. Because of this, the bond between them never blossoms into romance, it lacks the spark, the chemistry that true love demands. Trin’s constant hesitation and the way he pushes Victor away only prove that deep down, he knows it too.

Then comes Tanwa. He carries himself with maturity, patience, and quiet strength. In episode 6, when he listened and comforted Trin, it was more than just a kind gesture, it was a moment of deep understanding. Tanwa doesn’t just protect Trin; he sees him, supports him, and stands beside him as an equal. Their connection feels natural, effortless, and genuine in a way Victor and Trin never achieved.

Trin doesn’t need someone who looks up to him. He needs someone who walks with him, and that someone is clearly Tanwa.

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel sorry for Dhevi (Krailert’s wife)?
She’s clearly lonely, and her husband is bi/gay. He needs a man, but at the same time, it looks like she has eyes on Veera and Veera seems to have feelings for her too.

Honestly, I’d root for her if she actually ended up with Veera, because why not? An eye for an eye. If a man can do it, why can’t a woman? I know it’s technically wrong, but as a man myself, I can’t help but feel that this is what she truly needs.

After watching Episode 10, it reminds me of Episode 8 of the fragile dream they once held so tightly, yet could never reach.

ShuHe whispered with trembling hope, “Just as we promised, we’ll escape to the woods, wandering mountains and rivers side by side.”

ZiAng, his eyes shining with fragile devotion, replied, “Of course I will. When that day comes, we’ll build a small courtyard in the forest, and beneath the trees, we’ll hold a simple wedding, just the two of us.”

I have a different perspective. The Crown Prince killed his own father, and his next target was his brother ShuHe. If Duan ZiAng had not killed him, ShuHe would have died, so in many ways, he was protecting his lover.

The rest, I agree with you that Duan ZiAng’s love was extreme, but it was also undeniable. He killed the king to take the throne, sacrificed millions of soldiers, and built an entire identity, the Six Prince residence, not for ambition or glory, but purely for ShuHe. It was a sanctuary forged with his own blood and sweat, a kingdom carved out of devotion, not conquest.

At the same time, I can only imagine how painful it is for ShuHe to see his kingdom fall, to be taken away by the very man he loves. If it were an ordinary enemy, perhaps it would be easier to bear. But when the hand that destroys your world is the same hand that holds your heart, the pain becomes unbearable.

I guess this is what love does, it blurs the line between devotion and destruction.
