Episode 2 revealed that Lu Xin is not the family’s biological daughter.
At first, I felt a bit conflicted about Xiao Fan entering a fake marriage and then falling in love with his brother in law. Even though the marriage was fake and they never had a real intimate relationship beyond the title, it still felt a little wrong. Now that we know Lu Xin isn’t the older brother’s biological sister, I honestly feel much better about where the story is heading.
I can actually resonate with what Lion did because something very similar happened to me in real life.My ex cheated…
Thanks for sharing your personal experience, and I’m sorry for what your ex did to you. I understand your perspective better now. Lion probably did that to pressure Kanit in front of everyone.
What Lion did felt so unrealistic. He cheated on Kanit, they broke up for only a few weeks, and then he showed up at Kanit's friend's birthday party with an expensive bag before proposing to Kanit. Where is the logic in that? In real life, you don't propose to your ex like nothing happened. You rebuild the relationship first, earn back their trust, and then maybe think about marriage.
On top of that, he completely overshadowed his friend's birthday. It was her special day, her moment to celebrate. If he wanted to propose at someone else's event, the least he could have done was ask for permission first. Imagine someone randomly showing up at your birthday just to propose to their ex. The entire focus shifts away from the person the celebration was actually for. Lion's actions just didn't make sense to me.
The bright spot was seeing Kanit and Toto become boyfriends. Their relationship is a reminder that money cannot buy happiness. Toto may not have luxury cars or endless wealth, but he never betrayed Kanit's trust and loved him with his whole heart. Sometimes, happiness is found in the simplest gestures. Singing in a restaurant, giving a handmade gift, or placing a flower garland around the person you love can mean far more than any expensive present.
At the end of the day, I'd rather be truly happy with the right person than live surrounded by luxury with someone who makes me feel alone. Love is not measured by the price of a gift, but by the sincerity of the heart that gives it.
Would you mind spoilering comments like this, please, especially if you’re going to respond to spoilers replies…
I haven’t read the novel, so everything I’m saying is just my own assumption. It’s not confirmed and it’s not a spoiler.
A spoiler is information that is already known or confirmed. For example, if the ending is that he eats chicken and I reveal that before it happens, that’s a spoiler.
But if I’m simply guessing that he might eat beef, pork, or fish, that’s just speculation. A guess can be right or wrong, but it isn’t a spoiler because it doesn’t come from confirmed information.
If someone replies to my comment and they already know the answer because they’ve read the novel, then yes, they should absolutely use a spoiler tag before revealing anything. But if someone else replies with their own guesses or theories, that’s still just speculation, not a spoiler. That’s called having a discussion.
We’re here to discuss the show. That’s the whole purpose of the MDL forum. People should be able to share theories, predictions, and assumptions without being told to add spoiler tags when there are no actual spoilers.
Please don’t be the spoiler police and tell people to use spoiler tags when it’s just speculation and discussion.
I don't mind short series. I'd rather have them than not have them at all. But what's the point of having 6 minute episodes if we have to wait 7 days for the next one? The entire series will end up being less than an hour long, yet it will still take weeks to finish.
Episode 4 left me completely stunned. Chae Ha may have initiated the kiss, but the moment Tae Seon responded, the balance of power shifted. Every movement carried an overwhelming sense of urgency, transforming a fleeting moment into an emotionally charged confrontation. Their vulnerability, hesitation, and longing collided in a way that blurred the line between tenderness and desperation. He then covered Chae Ha's eyes as he kissed him, his emotions spilling over in every touch. Then he said, "Don't look at me. I don't want to see your face." 💔 He then entered Chae Ha from behind, it was raw and intense, I was left absolutely speechless.😭🫠🖤It was no longer just about physical closeness but about fear, hidden emotions, and the walls he refused to let down. The intensity of the moment was unforgettable, making it one of the most powerful and emotionally gripping scenes of the episode.
Do you guys think they can realistically end up in a romantic relationship after everything that’s happened?
I haven’t read the novel, but I have a feeling ChaeHa’s father is actually innocent and wasn’t the one who killed TaeSeon’s father. My theory is that TaeSeon will eventually uncover the truth, realize he was wrong, and deeply regret everything he put ChaeHa through. Maybe that’s how they’ll find their way back to each other and get a happy ending.
Of course, that’s just my theory, and I could be completely wrong.
I know a lot of people on that page didn’t like the ending, especially because Zhan Wang’s terminal illness seemed to be left unanswered.
Maybe I see it a little differently. In the end, not every question needed an answer. As long as they had each other, that was enough. You could see that Xu Yuan was willing to give up his life for Zhan Wang, and that kind of love speaks louder than any explanation.
I agree the finale could have been stronger, but the entire series still touched my heart. It made me cry more than once, and despite its flaws, it’s a story I’ll gladly return to. Some endings are imperfect, yet the emotions they leave behind stay with us.
Going back to epsidoe 10 for example, watching the person you love lying in front of you, not knowing if they'll survive, has to be one of the most painful things anyone could experience. When he said, "I have to have my surgery. I might go blind or die," my heart shattered.Xu Yuan's response made the scene even more emotional. "I'll stay with you no matter what." Such a simple promise, yet it carried so much love, fear, and unwavering devotion. The performances were incredible, and the raw emotion felt so real that I couldn't hold back my tears.
Just because the ending wasn't perfect, don't forget how good the rest of the other episodes were.
oh this is just disgusting. the sa and the romanticisation of it from the majority audience is sickening. stop…
Please tell me which part is SA???
From what I watched, Chae Ha initiated the kiss first. Even though he was drunk, he made the first move. Tae Seon then responded by saying, "You started this," and kissed him back. They were both undressing each other, so to me, it was clear that Chae Ha understood what was happening despite being intoxicated.
Later, Tae Seon told him to turn over before penetrating him from behind. In my opinion, if Chae Ha had said no or tried to stop him and Tae Seon continued anyway, then I would consider that SA. But that's not in this case so for me it is not SA.
So next time carefully before saying its SA, it is not!
For me, I don't see it as SA, but I understand why others do.

I was wondering the same thing. Why do the heterosexual couple dramas not feature more adult content? Maybe it's…

What gets on my nerves is that it’s perfectly fine to disagree with me, I genuinely don’t mind that. But calling my comment “bs” and claiming all BL fans like porn is rude, disrespectful, and an unfair generalisation.

Congratulations 🥳 on your first lead role
