On Business as Usual Apr 3, 2025
The first episode of Business as Usual is off to a great start, featuring two kiss scenes within the first five minutes—a clear sign of the growing boldness of Korean BL dramas.

It’s exciting to see the genre evolving, and hopefully, we will soon see high-budget productions with full 16-episode seasons of future Korean BL series

Oh my goodness, I was right—the kiss occurred at the very end of Episode 4 and lasted only a few seconds. So much time was wasted on their flashbacks instead. Now, we have to wait another week.

Having watched numerous GMMTV series, I already anticipated this outcome based on their previous shows. Let’s hope the kiss in the next episode doesn’t happen at the very end as well.

who's ready for their kiss?? because i'm not aksjajdkagdka i'm gonna scream
I am just as excited and have been eagerly awaiting this for an entire week. I hope the kiss lasts more than a few seconds and does not take place only at the very end of Episode 4, leaving us in suspense for another week until Episode 5.

Title Condor Hero
Out of all the adaptations of The Condor Heroes that I have watched, this portrayal of Long Nu is my favorite. I also greatly admired the actor who played Yang Guo.

Initially, I wondered how they could condense a 50+ episode series into a 1 hour and 46-minute movie. However, based on the comments, it seems that additional parts will be released. Does anyone know how many more films are planned for this adaptation?

Which rating? On MDL it's 7.9
Are you familiar with how the rating system works? I often wonder how kisskh (MDL) can assign a rating to a 12-episode series after only one episode has aired. Do audience members like us contribute to the overall rating?

The Faifa and Wine part is a disappointment for me. This series is definitely too long. And like most if these…
It’s understandable that not every storyline or series will appeal to everyone, but dismissing this series as merely “fluffy” or catering only to heterosexual girls oversimplifies the impact and significance of BL dramas.

1. Character Development and Representation – While Faifa and Wine’s relationship may not have been as prominent as others, their story still contributed to the overall narrative. Not every relationship needs to be intense or dramatic to be meaningful. Love stories come in many forms, and their dynamic adds variety to the series rather than making it feel repetitive.

2. The Length of the Series – A longer series allows for deeper exploration of characters and relationships. Many fans appreciate the extra time spent on character interactions rather than rushing storylines, which is often a common complaint in shorter series.

3. Authenticity to the LGBTQ+ Community – While BL series often take a more romanticized approach, that doesn’t mean they lack value or significance. Many LGBTQ+ individuals, especially in regions where representation is limited, find comfort, validation, and even inspiration in these stories. Not every piece of media needs to be a hard-hitting drama to be meaningful. For example, shows like Heartstopper and Semantic Error are lighthearted yet still resonate with many LGBTQ+ viewers.

4. BL’s Cultural and Industry Impact – BL dramas, especially in Asia, have helped normalize same-sex relationships in media. While they may not always reflect every aspect of the LGBTQ+ experience, they have undeniably contributed to visibility and discussions about representation. Some actors and creators involved in BL series have openly supported LGBTQ+ rights, showing that these stories are more than just entertainment for a single audience.

And for your information, I am a bisexual male from Australia, and most of my Aussie male friends, both bisexual and gay, absolutely loved this series. This is not just a show tailored to heterosexual women, as your comment suggests. BL dramas have a much broader appeal, and this series, in particular, resonated with a diverse audience.

Dismissing an entire genre because it doesn’t meet one’s personal expectations ignores the diversity within it. While BL dramas may not always represent every experience within the LGBTQ+ community, they still serve an important role in increasing awareness, sparking conversations, and providing representation in a way that resonates with many.

I can’t believe I binge-watched all 23 episodes in just three days! You were absolutely right—this series is incredible. I love all six main leads; they were phenomenal. I can’t believe it has been six months since its release—I wish I had discovered it sooner. Everything about this series is absolutely perfect.

Hope to read you soon when you'll get to the last couple, JuniorMark :-)
Oh my goodness, you are absolutely right! I am completely in love with JuniorMark. I’m currently up to episode 22, and this is my first time seeing them in a series. Their chemistry and acting are truly outstanding—I am absolutely captivated by them.

To be honest, I didn’t enjoy Love in the Air, and my opinion is not biased—I simply don’t invest time in shows I don’t like. I choose series based on plot, chemistry, and romance. While I enjoyed The Boy Next World, Love in the Air did not appeal to me at all.

The same applies to TinGun—I absolutely loved them in High School Musical, but I didn’t enjoy their dynamic in My Love Mix-Up.

I suppose everyone has different tastes.

Same here! I started on the 29th and watched over 20 episodes straight throughout the entire weekend. I was so immersed that I didn’t even step outside my house. 🥳
That was one of the most intense and beautifully executed love scenes I’ve seen in a series. The combination of passionate kisses, intimate touches, and sensual dialogue—especially “Punish me until you’re satisfied”—created an incredibly powerful moment. Phu’s moaning added to the depth of the scene, making it even more captivating. I only wish it had lasted longer.

I’m genuinely surprised by how much I enjoy this series—it has exceeded my expectations. I started this show late due to the overwhelming 24 episodes, but I’ve already binge-watched the first six and will likely reach episode 22 by the end of the weekend. I find ForceBook even more compelling in this series, but the couple I’m most excited about is PerthSanta. I loved Santa in My Only 12% and am thrilled that he joined GMMTV and was paired with Perth.

It seems that GMMTV has a fetish for rooftop scenes, as well as an obsession with featuring engineering facilities in all their BL series 🤣

All four male leads are absolutely gorgeous—even the additional support cast - Ian with his blonde hair looks amazing. But the story is moving far too slowly. We’re already at episode 9, with only four episodes left, and it feels like there has been little progress.

The two main leads clearly have feelings for each other, yet they keep playing this endless game of cat and mouse. Even the secondary couple is frustrating—despite admitting they like each other, one of them is still going through with a marriage. What is going on?

It also feels like many Taiwanese BL dramas follow the same formula: two main leads, a secondary couple, and some tragic past event, whether it’s a car accident or the loss of a parent.

I really hope they can turn things around in the last four episodes. It would be such a waste of a stunning cast.

According to the Korean title "2반 이희수" Heesu is in class number 2, the number is related to his class…
Thank you for the clarification. I’m currently watching another Korean drama called Weak Hero Class 1, and its upcoming sequel is titled Weak Hero Class 2, so I was a bit confused with this one.

Regarding Squid Game, Didn’t he got shot in the head and died in season 2, I’m so confused as he got casted for season 3?
On Heesu in Class 2 Mar 28, 2025
I haven’t read the manhwa yet. Is Heesu in Class 2 the first installment, or is there a preceding series, such as Heesu in Class 1? Or is ‘2’ just part of the title?

I'm really enjoying this, idk why it has such a low rating
I thoroughly enjoyed this show as well; however, I believe a rating of 7.4 is fair. Given its relatively low budget and limited cast—primarily consisting of only the three main leads—the rating seems justified. If you observe, the majority of the scenes take place in only a few locations, such as a bar, a coffee shop, or a home, which further supports the moderate rating. Rating this show above an 8 would not seem fair, especially when compared to other series, such as Secret Relationship, which holds an 8.3 rating. Secret Relationship kept me fully engaged throughout, with every episode offering thrilling moments, exciting plot twists, and well-placed flashbacks. The performances from the actors were exceptional, the male leads were particularly captivating, the cinematography was outstanding, and the overall plot was gripping.
