Title Secret Relationships Spoiler
I have just finished reading the Manhwa, which consists of 115 chapters plus five special chapters. I can confirm…
I read it while at work to pass the time :)

The TV series differs from the Manhwa, and after watching the trailer for TV Series episode 7, it appears that there will be a kidnapping scene. The Manhwa does not include a kidnapping scene; however, it appears that the television series will incorporate one.

Here is the Synopsis for Episode 7
'After learning about Jamin's past actions, Daon decides to take a stand and tell Sunghyeon how he feels. At the same time, the company is rocked by a scandal, and Daon leaves his job. Just as he tries to get his life together, he gets kidnapped'

Below is the link to episode 7 trailer, I found it on Facebook

May I know the spoiler..Did manhwa have happen like kidnap and injured things? It the Da On really choose Seong…
I have just finished reading the Manhwa, which consists of 115 chapters plus five special chapters. I can confirm that JaeMin did, in fact, stab himself; however, there was no kidnapping. The television adaptation is vastly superior, offering a significantly darker, more intense, and exhilarating experience.

I was so captivated by this series that I felt compelled to read the Manhwa. Having completed all 115 chapters along with the five special episodes, I must acknowledge that the television adaptation is far more superior. It offers a significantly darker, more intense, and exhilarating experience, making it considerably more engaging than the Manhwa.
On The Boy Next World Mar 17, 2025
I am currently up to episode 7 and am thoroughly enjoying the series.

Could someone with a spoiler tag confirm whether the events unfolding are simply Cir’s dream? For example, in his dream, he experiences a relationship with Phu so vividly that, upon awakening from the car accident, he seeks out Phu and pursues a relationship because the dream felt incredibly real. Or do these parallels world truly exist within the series?

Furthermore, could you clarify why Jin has the ability to read people's minds? Is he the only character with supernatural powers?

I don't understand Jaemin at all (and maybe that is a good thing). What is his end game? Da-on likes him and wants…
If DaOn came so easily, however, that would offer little amusement to a psychopath. If a challenge is too simple or its solution too apparent, it loses its value—one does not cherish what is easily obtained. If you have not yet noticed, a chessboard sits in JaeMin’s living room, a seemingly innocuous detail. Yet, to him, it is far more than a mere game; it is a philosophy, a reflection of his nature. He maneuvers people as one would maneuver pieces on a board, relishing the art of control and manipulation. To him, life itself is a game of chess—each move calculated, each opponent unwittingly drawn into play.

So, Jaemin must have had something on Suheoyn to make him leave 7 years ago.
Yes, it was JaeMin from the beginning. He hired Park Junghoon to intoxicate DaOn and take those photos. When SuHeyon discovered the truth, he severely beat Park Junghoon, nearly to death, forcing him to flee to America. This was revealed at 27:17 in Episode 4 of the TV Show.

Episode 68 of the Manga
SuHyeon - 'Fuck, I'm leaving like you asked. At the Police Station, you told them about DaOn, didn't you? Otherwise, how did the family know? Right until the end, you're a monster'

JaeMin - 'Consider that my gift to you, to help you work hard in America'

Yes, three couples each focused over 8 eps, but all couples make appearances all the way through. I have really…
Thank you, I really like Santa from My Only 12% so I probably watch him and Perth first.
On Perfect 10 Liners Mar 16, 2025
Could someone clarify whether this show focuses on three couples separately, with each couple featured across eight episodes, or if all three couples are present throughout the entire 24 episodes? Additionally, would you say the show is worth watching, considering that 24 episodes seem quite lengthy? Lastly, someone you suggest similar shows to help me determine whether I should start watching? Thank you in advance

I can't believe that there are still people that root for Suhyeon?! He's literally an abuser. No matter how long…
I sincerely sympathize with SuHyeon.

Consider the emotional turmoil he has endured—harboring such a significant secret from his lover for years, studying abroad because of him, and ultimately returning to work at the company for the same reason. He has had to hide his true self from his family and even participate in futile blind dates.

Moreover, he was willing to relinquish the position of CEO just to be with DaOn. In Episode 6, he expressed his desire to start anew and even presented DaOn with a ring. The immense pain he must be experiencing is truly heartbreaking. While it is true that Su Hyeon struggles with anger management, I cannot help but feel sympathy for him. If he and DaOn had communicated better, perhaps the outcome would have been different.

Were they making out or was soohyun forcibly and possessively kissing Da on?
For the movement, I believe DaOn was engaged in it; he only stopped when there was a knock at the door.
On Secret Relationships Mar 13, 2025
Every minute of Episode 6 was incredibly intense and captivating. From the unexpected kiss and the sister’s accident in the hospital to the heartfelt confession, the symbolic ring, and the shocking stabbing at the end—it was a rollercoaster of emotions. I am absolutely addicted to this show, and now I’m eager to start reading the Manhwa. I sincerely hope there will be a second season. My only regret is watching it at 8 AM before work because now I can't stop thinking about it, and I have no idea how I’ll focus throughout the day.

Soohyun is just a different romanization of Suhyeon. They're both the same name, like Jiwoong and Jiung or Ashley…
thank you, make sense now.

Both flashbacks take place seven years ago.

At the end of Episode 1, DaOn walked in with the gift and love letter, leading us to assume they were intended for JaeMin.

However, by the end of Episode 5, it is revealed that when DaOn wrote the letter, it was actually meant for SuHuyeon.

This confirms that DaOn had feelings for SuHuyeon first but decided to step back after JaeMin mentioned that he's dating SuHuyeon,

Everything now falls into place. But there might be more plot twists in the next few episodes.

End of episode 5,

' As soon as I smelled it, I thought of you, so I bought this perfume. Actually, it's not about the scent, it's that you're always on my mind, I like you, more than I ever imagined I would. Soohyun'

Who is Soohyun?

The 4 ML are Da On, Seong Hyeon, Jae Min and Su Hyeon? I am so confused. Can someone please explain?

I agree, most of them are lukewarm, but I think people are giving them a low ratings because of the toxic character
If there are no toxic characters, a story can often feel dull. I recently finished watching Heart Stain (Korean) and Impression of Youth (Taiwan), and while both lacked any toxic relationships, I found them quite boring, lacking depth and excitement in their plots. In contrast, dramas that include villains and toxic dynamics tend to be far more engaging, making viewers eagerly anticipate each new episode.

How does anyone still like Seonghyeon after he reciprocated something with a drunk person? Intoxicated people…
100% agreed with you. Story definitely make sense and we’re only into episode 4. What if there’s more to the story so don’t judge too early. It’s not everyone cup of tea but definitely mine.
