Han Fang is really not a good friend to her. Not only did he encourage Huo to confess when he knew Xu Lai was in a relationship with someone else, but he shamed Xu Lai for not returning Huo feelings....and then when Huo got depressed about it, he sent Xu Lai to deal with him, instead of doing it himself...knowing Xu Lai couldn't and wouldn't return his feelings, was in a relationship with someone else and Huo wasn't respecting that relationship.

later in the series he says he is no diabetic. Turns out in the book he was a smoker, and everyone was just trying to get him to quit. But in the show, they changed his oral fixation to suckers.

the OG story was a lot different. the more I watch the drama, the more I wish they’d stuck to the original story.

I've read the novel, and the more I've rewatched this drama, the less the changes they made, make sense. In the novel, Huo was her brother's best friend not hers, she viewed him as more of a stand-in for her brother who was away, Her actual best friend was actually a woman who was a doctor. But they did all grow up together. Their group consisted of her brother, Huo, two other guys, and XL and her best friend. After his 'confession' (which was an actually an assault in the book), she went very low contact with him, permanently. While I understand that they may not want to include the assault in the drama, the showrunners could've at least made them mutually agree to end their friendship.

I actually enjoyed this drama and didn't think the negativity I was seeing was warranted. Then I watched the last 3 episodes and it ruined it for me. I think this drama would've been a lot better if they removed that last arc. But I loved YZ and XK in this.

So....let me get this straight? All this time, before she was given the Hotel, they were going on and on about money problems and her mother was trying to force her into a marriage with a rich family because they're so poor and destitute.......but they've had her parents old property in her hometown this entire time that they could've sold?
