Nope

I haven't started watching yet, cause I want half the eps out before starting....but from what I've picked up on from clips on TIKTOK and looking into the book....it looks like the show made them closer in age? The book they were 7 years apart and in the show their 5 years? It also seems to me, that they changed his demeanor to be more charming? The book blurb describes him as cold and distant. So, I'm wondering if the showrunners are going to make it so he developed feelings for her sooner? Is their friendship in the book when she was younger much like the show? Because the clips I've seen portray him as rather protective and caring towards her, even when she was a young teen. Which imply that she was always very important to him. Which makes me wonder if we ever get a scene where he tells her, it hurt him that she stopped talking to him so abruptly?

Question about the ending. Is she human or was she reborn the water immortal in the human realm? I know their living in the mortal world with him still being immortal, but what about her?

At what point does she learn that this other girl is essentially stalking him? I haven't watched yet. I want to wait till at least half the episodes are out, but I want to know and I assume its a book spoiler not relieved in the show yet?

He initially did think she might be cheating, but that was before his friend told him what happened to her company. That's why he went drinking, he was already angry and hurt that she didn't confide in him and come to him for help, seeing her out with another tech guy and clearly interviewing him for CTO was salt in the wound.

He knows she is from a wealthy family, but doesn't know the Chairman is her grandfather until episode 19. You find out later, that's about the only thing he doesn't know. He admits later that he knew she was the girl he was talking to online. He implies he intentionally became Down to search her out.

I think given the information he was working with, jumping to cheating was a reasonable conclusion. He didn't know, yet, what happened to her company. She was going to tell him, but knew he would sacrifice his dream to help her save her company if she told him, so she didn't say anything. And she was right, that's literally what he tried to do the day after he found out. Honestly, I think him realizing she went to someone else to ask them to be CTO, probably hurt him worse than if she'd actually had cheated. I actually think it speaks volumes with how well she knows him to know he would sacrifice his dreams to help her....and he still nearly missed his interview to fly to the US, to ask his mother for help to help save her company.

She realizes in episode 6-7 that if she keeps behaving the way she does, he'll never respect her. They actually do end up officially together by 12-13, and their relationship develops in a mutually supportive, strong, healthy relationship. They both suffer a low point that causes one temporary breakup (bc he doesn't think he can be the hero she sees him as) but it helps her knock him off that pedestal and see him as human.

It happens before the show starts though, but there is a flashback to it.

For those that read the book... Is there a breakup at any point? Is it a happy ending? I need to know before I watch. I need to mentally prepare.

I'm also on the fence about whether or not the two love interests are using her naivety to their advantage or not....I suppose its up to how soon their aware of whatever the thing is that stops her from feeling romantic love.....I also caught the scene where she is not aware she has boobs, I kind of noped right out.

I haven't even started watching yet, but the clips on TIKTOK I've seen where he keeps calling her 'little girl'....tells me she did it on purpose and I applaud her.

I mean, during the break up, Huo was lying to her that JSC didn't love her when he knew full well he did. But towards the end, I was starting to wonder if he really loved her or that he wanted to protect her like she used to protect him when they were children, and his 'love' was born more from that obsession than of actual love. because its clear in that scene at the earthquake sight that he doesn't actually care about what she wants, only his need to keep her safe.

I'm literally only watching this, because LY is in it. I'm not completely opposed to naïve female leads, but I think this one is gonna push the boundaries for what I can tolerate.

Before I delve into this one, can someone please spoil for me a few things. I've seen some things saying she is completely oblivious to the fact that she is a girl, is that true? How long does that last? Also are the ones around here aware she has this thing inside her that prevents her from feeling/understanding love? If not, when do they figure it out...because I've seen clips of her telling people she likes them and its clear that what she means and what they think she means, is completely different.

Episode 20

She is lucky he was absolutely convinced that she did have feelings for him, despite her pushing him away. But to be fair, she was lying to him about who she was, and believed he was in a secret relationship with a much older woman.

They break up in 18, back together in 20. TML stops being a creep around episode 30-31. But XL shuts him down hard several episodes before that. She even stops being friends with him after she find out he faked his relationship with the actress just so she would still hang out with him, thats like episode 21-22 I think?
