Hm Hidden Love had similar problems. The director abandoned the project because he thought it would flop. Zhao Lusi had to use her own wardrobe and asked her singer friends to do the soundtrack.

There is also an easter egg connecting WIFTY and another one of the directors dramas Lets Meet Now it was mentioned in the comments here but I cant seem to find it since I didnt watch Lets Meet Now. I will have to add it to my watch list since both FL and SFL are in that one.

This is ZMY first proper role as a leading lady. She only did one other short 10 min per episode drama as the lead. Her next title should be Exclusive Fairytale and that novel is so, so sweet I just hope they do it right.
Im such a sucker for eloquent female characters with beautiful lines. Thats why I loved Radio Romance while it was meh for everyone else. Its so nice that Zai Zai is good at languages and speaks so beautifully.

Also dont expect a roller coaster of emotions as this one pretty much just lifts you up most of the time with a few minor setbacks. But to me thats its charm.
