The storyline felt a bit messy for me too after some episodes, but that is only because there are too many characters, and they have their own stories covered. I have to do some rewatch to know more, especially because I rely on this drama only and did not read the novel or watch the previous drama (The Blood of Youth, sequel to this). Watched ep 16 yesterday, still hooked and impatient for more. Keep watching. This drama is so worth watching.

The disciples or common martial artists use stances and real fighting, with kicks and sword plays. The CGI is often used when the masters, with high level of qi or innner energy, are fighting. It has been like this since long before, E.g. The Condor Heroes trilogy showed the difference between Guo Jing's fighting style before and after he has a very strong qi.

HT did not even need to invest in Xingchen and just focus on Hanhai but he was aware that those who wanted to invest in her company had bad intentions from the beginning. He did not want Xingchen to be Hanhai's competitor and be crushed (as a start up tha lacked capital). XY is a smart woman but she was a rookie in business. HT has been protecting her and her company. Episode 29 is rather upsetting for me. FL annoys me by accepting investment from HT enemy just because she is angry about the 'merger'. She knows that person has bad intention towards HT and wants to hurt HT through her but she lets it happen. I am postponing watching the next episodes. Starting to feel that HT deserves a better girl than FL.
Watching the last 6 episodes in one go. The fighting between PWX and SRQ is awesome. They should have given more scenes with them sparring instead of giving SRQ more screen time, even more than PWX. The ending is good with each character gets what they deserve.

7.9? It should be 9 since the adaptation is great. Guo Jing is perfect. Pure, 'dumb', loyal and loves only Huang Rong. HR is very smart, scheming and listens to GJ only. Kang is smart, a great liar and needs some good slaps (stabs more likely)
