"You are the best woman I could ever ask for. Before this, I never even considered marriage"

Despite the lie about his identity, Xie Zheng had always been sincere about his feelings for Changyu.
He was worried about how and when to reveal the truth but once it was out, he actually had better chance to tell her all about his affection for her. He had always wanted her but the lie made him unable to pour his heart out or to talk more about themselves. The confession as the ending was perfect!

But as long as I live, in this lifetime, you are mine. This is so Xie Wei coded.
I suppose both dramas sort of adapted the words from the novel "Haunting Adeline" by H.D. Carlton 😊

I can die. But you must live well.
But as long as I live, in this lifetime, you are mine.

Then came the slap, but not as dramatic as the comments suggested. How could she send him flying with her pig death guarantee slapping power after those words?
She was deeply hurt by the lie, but their love was stronger.

As of March 18th, the suspenseful adventure drama "Two Capitals and Fifteen Days," starring Cheng Yi, has garnered 441,000 pre-orders on iQiyi. It has topped the Huanwang Big Data Upcoming Drama Popularity Chart for seven consecutive days, with a peak daily popularity of 8332 points. It also secured first place on both the Upcoming Drama Character Popularity Index and Public Opinion Popularity Charts.
Adapted from Ma Boyong's novel of the same name and directed by Zhang Li (director of "Da Ming Dynasty 1566"), the drama is based on the true historical event of Zhu Zhanji's return to the capital on the 15th day of his reign. It blends elements of canal transport, suspenseful action, and political intrigue, generating significant buzz and anticipation even before its release.

That presence in top 10 non-English list is a great feat, since it is not translated into many languages. They…
Definitely. #2 in South Korea is a feast too.
PoJ made its #1 record internationally for a Cdrama on Netflix.

Pursuit of Jade is very powerful in the mainland, with 40s -50s% for playback marketshare on Yunhe and dominating both drama ranking and characters popularity, this drama practically left only 'crumbs' for the other Top 10 dramas on the chart. #2 did not even reach 2 digits marketshare.
149 million yesterday's effective playback volume on Maoyan with 21.5M for #2
Ranking 1 on Kuyun for drama and character popularity since Day 1 airing.
So it is no wonder that some jealous people have been trying to trash talk Zhuyu, by finding faults in the castline, the flaws in characters and the storyline.
Fortunately enough, no one (except the 'certified trolls') on MDL are explicit enough in delivering their dissatisfaction about this drama but with some 'grumbles' about the plots.
Zhu Yu managed to fight the noise at the beginning of the drama by proving that it could continuously top the ranking, and even making its way internationally, on Netflix.

to everyone who knows an answer especially people who read the novel can you explain the royal family tree i understood…
Qi Min was the heir to the previous Crown Prince Chengde, who died 16-17 years ago.
Officially, he was still the heir to the throne, but Wei Yan placed the current Qi member as his puppet. Qi Sheng was the Grand Princess's Qi Shu's younger brother, likely Qi Min's cousin.

Xie Zheng only lied about his identity, had his reasons and knew his fault so I doubt that Changyu would give him a cold treatment for long. A slap or two then they would be together again.

Marquis Wu'an about his lie:
Changyu, I know you feel wronged, but I never intended to play games or belittle you by hiding this from you. From beginning to end, my feelings for you have never been insincere.
When you first took me in, I was framed and my situation was unclear. If my identity were exposed, it would bring disaster. When we parted at Xigu Lane, with national and personal grievances unresolved and my life hanging in the balance, I had no reason to reveal my identity to you. Later, in the military camp, you came to find me, and I was overjoyed, but I wasn't sure if my identity would push you further away, and I feared that our relationship would be exploited by those with ulterior motives, putting you in danger. I kept thinking of finding the right time to tell you, but the longer I delayed, the harder it became to speak.
I only hope you can forgive my helplessness. From now on, the road ahead is long, and I will have no more secrets.

Xie Zheng likely told them that it was a fake marriage but they called her 'Marchioness' still. At the beginning…
She fell for him at the first sight. He was practically the most beautiful man she even seen in life. He was falling for her at the end of episode 1, but realised it later.

Im going to start watching again , im so sad I cannot continue after eps 8 and I am preggy and I did not drop…
Xie Zheng likely told them that it was a fake marriage but they called her 'Marchioness' still. At the beginning he did not like them calling her that so they called her Young Lady Fan instead, although they still called her Marchioness too. Later, he did not really mind them calling her that. IMHO.

Do you happen to know the Douban rating?
No rating yet but this drama has been topping Douban TVShows Real Time count since day 1, so if there is no massive downrating by haters, PoJ should get good score.

Chang Yu was naive, clueless about the world beyond her reach but was never dumb. She was brought up by a 'butcher', knew a way of a butcher, to live a life an honest way, not hurting others or be hurt back. As a young woman, she raised and protected herself and younger sister, never lived off someone else and was even able to pay the ungrateful son of a bi*** tuition. She was smart about the life she knew.
She understood zero of what a military order was, that every single thing had its rules. That was why she did not understand that spiriting Yan Zheng from the camp could lead to his dead, by being a deserter, until the other soldiers told her so. Still, it did not mean that she understood that he must continue fighting, being injured and all and that she could not get him the food he needed to nurture him, with what she thought as a fool proof plan.
It would be a flaw in writing if she suddenly knew all the military rules. But once she learned her lessons, she never forgot them.
And there was no way she could ever fathom that Yan Zheng was the marquis. She thought he was a foot soldier, the lowest rank, worlds away from the highest rank in the camp, and that he could not lie or that someone so noble would marry a peasant, a pig slaughterer.
She asked what she thought was off, like why Yan Zheng was the only one being moved to a more private tent, and was given a very convincing answer by the smart Gongsun Yin.
So no, there was no way that she knew, with what she had seen and heard. For now. IMHO.

Title Pursuit of Jade Spoiler
Dramawiki put together characters from the same family, clan, work or imperial.https://wiki.d-addicts.com/Pursuit_of_Jade
Qi Min was the son of Crown Prince Chengde, so he was the true heir to the throne. He was raised by Prince Changxin who thought that he was his eldest son (Qi Min's mom burned his face to save him from the massacre before her death) and raised him.
The current emperor was a puppet of the Chancellor Wei Yan (Xie Zheng's uncle).

Wei Qilin worked under Wei Yan before. The letter contained the secret of Wei Yan's involvement in Crown Prince Chengde's death.

I read the novel backwards (from the extra chapter of Gongsun Yin) and am still reading them so I have no idea what the whole story in the novel.
For this drama, the trick is to never skip scenes and rewatch when you get confused
