I really love the way this drama delivers the romance between Nie Jiuluo & Yan Tuo. From the moment they met to the latest episode.
The way she understands that he is a proud man and that the imprisonment has somehow shaken him, so she did not ask anything about what had happened nor showed him even an ounce of pity, even when watching him broke her heart. She is the person he loves the most and the way she treats him can truly affect his already depleted dignity.
So she 'takes care' of him as much as he allows her to.
Yan Tuo is a survivor, so he will not let the awful experience control him. He after all managed to live for so many years with someone he wants to exact revenge without her knowing about his intention.

It was deliberately done, dropping Yan Tuo's name, all because of jealousy and not for the sake of saving Jiang, because mentioning Yan Tuo only provoked Lin Xirou and no progress about the exchange at all since then.
Even if XS did not trust YT, he gave intel that enabled the hunters to capture the fiends.
The hunters had zero without Yan Tuo, least to even think about saving anyone.
So mentioning YT's name is not only a betrayal move but also stupid and useless for the whole grand saving Mr Jiang agenda.
