He will be mad blade (FL) lover and she is part of the hunters. Just try to watch 5-6 episodes. This drama has a good action and nice slow burn romance

Tbh, all I care about a drama is whether I can continue enjoying watching the episodes and feel engaged with the storyline. Great visuals are surely pleasing for my vision and mind but it is the story and acting skills that keep me watching. I dropped dramas with stunning visuals when they failed to entertain me. LOTTL has so far been consistent with the plotlines, whether for its action, romance or delivering answers for all the mystery in the previous episodes.
"Adopting the shallowest, readiest, most relatable persona as your own is quite clever. But humans are too complicated. To imitate convincingly is tough."
Yan Tuo taunting Xiong makes me want to scream. I know that he is 'protected by the lead plot armor' but I am still sooooo scared about his safety. Xiong looks hurtful by his 'family betrayal' gives me hope that he may not all vicious.
Dear Lovelies (LOTTL fans), Kindly remember to rate all the aired episodes with your love. MDL rating is not a reliable drama reference for Cdramas but low rating still discourages passerbys and newbies, and they deserve to know that this drama is far better than the rating here. It should be at least 8.7 Thank you.
Nie Jiuluo = Mad Blade Yurong = Ghost Whip Xing Shen = Mad Dog (dog = hound, since he is from the hound clan) Mr Jiang and the SMH said so several times)
Some of the terms in this drama: (I do not read the book, and only got them from the already aired episodes. Apology for any errors)
Southern Mountain Hunters are those who fight the fiends since a long time ago. The Hound Clan for tracking, the Whip for taming and the Blade for killing the fiend. The current generation has never seen a fiend before, until the forest fight. Both older and current generations did not know about human fiends either, before that fight. Nie Jiuluo is the only blade clan. Yurong is the ghost whip's descendant. Xing Shen is the best Hound clan.
Lin Xirou is the first human fiend and showed up (came to the surface) at the Yan family Mining and pretended to be Li Ergou's cousin. She became the 'nanny' for Yan Tuo.
Blood bag is the human whose blood is needed by the humanoid fiend to maintain their human form. The fiend lives together with their 'human companion' and could 'keep' the human as their lover (Chen Fu & Xu Anni) or children (Lin Xirou & Lin Ling). The fiend has to consume blood from the same bloodline.
Oh geesh. I would hate it too. Someone spoiled me that he would go a bit bad because of his ambition but not too far. I suppose all the spoilers come from the novel and this drama may not follow it closely.
Kim Young-dae said, "I understood the character as someone who started with A-jin's gaslighting and ended up in love with her out of guilt for not being able to save her when she was young," and added, "I even looked up actual cases of gaslighting to use as reference for my acting."
In 'Dear X', he is receiving favorable reviews for his delicate expression of suppressed anger and longing through only facial expressions, gaze, and breathing. He said, "I was so emotionally exhausted that my eyes would become bloodshot after filming," but added, "But emotions are also stamina. As I continued to use them, I felt my emotional capacity expanding. I learned that through this work."
His chemistry with Kim Yoo-jung is also a hot topic. The acting synergy between the two actors is receiving enthusiastic responses from viewers. Kim Young-dae said, "I've been a longtime fan of Yoo-jung," adding, "She's an actress who excels at leading and directing the set. Thanks to her, I was able to act comfortably as her partner."
... For me, this drama is Kim Youngdae's best character portrayal and has let the viewers to see what a good actor he is.
Kim Youjung built Baek Ah-jin through meticulous analysis. The passage where she referenced a list of "gaslighting" phrases, in particular, demonstrates how intensely she focused on the character. She explained, "I sought advice and received a list of phrases frequently used by people with antisocial personality disorder. At first, after reading two lines, I thought, 'This won't work,' because even I felt like I was being seduced by Baek Ah-jin. However, while filming, I looked it up like a dictionary, studying the psychology of manipulating others, and I naturally incorporated it into the character."
What's interesting is that Kim Youjung, while portraying Baek Ah-jin, revealed that she "didn't want the character to be cheered on." She explained, "It was a show that constantly made me question whether I could cheer for this character or throw stones at her. Rather than unconditionally supporting Baek Ah-jin, I played her in a way that questioned what factors are important in our personal growth as we live." This demonstrated that Kim Yoo-jung went beyond simply embodying the character and deeply grasped the show's message.
From the Nation Little Sister, Kim Youjung is called by the media as the Trustworthy Actress ππ»π
