Yes, I agree with you again, good examples. between us I disliked him when he spoke to fl that way because of his jealousy and she goes to hospital . But he was like you said he didn't follow his heart but he did what will make him fell satisfied , I didn’t like the director’s choice because he showed that man’s eyes as normal without showing that he was blind in one eye, which made the ML’s sacrifice look useless 😒 and also make the sml sick so. he get forgiven for what he did 🙃.
it's one of my favorite cdramas because of fl was so much in love with ml and didn't change it till the end they were compete who will sacrifice more for each other☺🙂

He is proof that you can love someone unconditionally , while still keeping your goals as your priority, without completely changing like a fickle person because you fall in love , Even when he knew there was a big chance of losing her, he didn’t change his mind. And even when he had a way to get both, he still refused to do it because there was a small chance that he could be the reason she might get killed.

yes there a lot of cdrama that write mls as support character without any role expect being in love with fl unconditionally from start. but they know most fans like to see mls beneath fls and worship them and being green forest and have no " ego " but they don't like fls to be writin like mls because it's only good when ml have only fl in his mind, but fls should have a big role and show her strong side and smart mind! a recent cdrama is next level of all this " glory " they write ml as servant more than an ml in front of fl lol

One big frustrating thing in C-dramas is that they don't respect the roles of all the characters. Like you said about fl I suppose , is more accurate about mls, they start the ML as tough, smart, and strong , everything a proper male lead should be but when he falls in love, it's like they change the character 180°. I honestly can't remember a recent C-drama where the ML continued to act like as he started as a man his character should be, the same way he did at the beginning. He always changes after falling in love.
But this is rare for FLs. They may start wea, yes,and they develop from that, and most of the time they start strong and stay that way until the end, Even falling in love doesn't change their character that much.
It would actually be refreshing if this FL respected the ML as her man and he didn't change into just another ML who falls in love and becomes a support character for the FL and he also respect her as his woman and they become a powerful couple ni ine better than the other or become shadow for the other , like It was in "The Royal Princess " even the second ML had a bigger role than him, while the main ML was just there to be in love with the FL while she treated him badly but when she knows it's sml she act like nothing happened, and ml can't even get a job or a title without her help , while sml with his mind become the first minister,

on the point of fast paced " it's normally to be fast paced at start because they will break up and get to the normal time stamp of any kdrama 😅😂 it's fast only for a reason that it's not the actual time they dating and it's just the past , but I bet with you that later they wilynot get back that fast but till last episodes, oh and if they make it like our universe love triangle hello to more lower ratings 🙃🙂🙂

it's normal trope about fl love their exes unconditionally and be doing everything in the relationship before break up and when ml show up she don't do anything and even her love is just because he doing what she was doing for her ex so she likes him for that, but if you notice in kdrama and cdrama always with this plot of fl having relationship before break up you see she loves her ex more and do more effort in that relationship but with ml her end game she just receiving his unconditionally love. 😅

what he said is a lie because he liked her from start till the end lol, in his mistake about work or something like that is not making him less perfect to date it's just being human, but she chose him I get from. it like she did him a favor by doing so!? it's her luck that she get with someone like him. that respect her and love her and wait for her while she was dreaming of perfect ones. and risk him getting out of love is like saying he will die one day what day who knows!? when he get out of live who knows!? it's life you can't stop dealing with people because there a chance they meet cheat you or hate you or take advantage of you one day maybe!? I stopped watching kdrama only because of unbalanced relationships and they don't give mls important roles or depth in romance kdrama, it's always about a fl that have bad experience in past and a bad ex or misunderstood him or something like that, and ml role to help her move on and that's it as her prize after she reject him many times or he fight either ex or sml to win her and wait for her and most of the time he's virgin 🤡. one drama I remember watched have balance between fl and ml is it's okay that's love kdrama you can see ml has dignity and personality not only there to tolerate everything and accept anything like the dali and cocky prince ml the get slapped and she walk over him literally and he still worship her 🙃😅

yes she can do whatever she likes butbi don't like to watch only her doing whatever she likes but they write ml fall for her from start and she don't even like him when he said he's also using virtual reality so it's a red flag, for my taste if they both have multiple partners in virtual reality I watched it but they will never do something like that because they always write mls pure and clueless about that and give fl every handsome actor they find have some time to date and still being mad at ml for half of the drama lol

why she will be confused if she can have both lol joking 😅😂 ml will accept that it's just virtual ones like dreaming he can't stops her dreaming about other men lol
