Him falling for her is a given 😅. Unfortunately, the writers once again make the male lead fall first, change first, and start doing everything to help her and win her — only to end up looking silly because of it 😒😔. Why can’t they write a manly man who doesn’t fall for her teasing or act like a little boy being played by a grown woman!? Let’s not forget he’s supposed to be a ruthless general 🙄. Even when he starts out like one, male leads in this kind of drama always end up a level below the female leads in every regard — even in physical strength if the female lead is a general too.

What I usually do when the female lead plays hard to get for many episodes is watch until they break up, then skip everything after that until the episode right before they get back together — that way I avoid all the frustration, stupid clichés, the second male lead, and the female lead working with him after rejecting him 😅🤣 and all the other useless tropes.

Because after the breakup, it’s only the male lead who gets humiliated and made to look silly and stupid about love and relationships, even if he was in love in the past , and he has to beg and promises to do everything before she think to give him a chance and she doesn’t respect him after and just pushing him and make him look stupid , even though she’s supposed to be in love with him. She just focuses on her career, even using the second male lead’s help ( who wants to win her also) , while making it difficult for the male lead to help her, because her ego is more bigger than him and his love 🤣😅 🤡🤯

this unfortunately is the plot for most recent Cdramas like this one.

Why do they always make male leads look like fools and stupid to some degree in this regard, while the female leads are always charismatic, smart, and never even think about love or act silly because they love the male lead? And the male lead never gets to use that against her to tease or make fun of her! I always want to see a charismatic male lead doing that to a cold, strong female lead too. But they never let that happen — the female lead never loses face or a battle to the male lead, even in love is it because it's female-lead-centric C-dramas , so ml kinda is just a support character that his role is only to help fl and work for her and fall for her and at the end go to her to be together because she can't leave her country !? . 😒😅

and fl also loves him !? are there any kissing or intimate scenes between them!? thank you

unfortunately they make her stupid to make her fall in traps!? why always they write fls smart and strong and always on point if they against mls at start and they always more strong and smart than mls , but when they friends with mls they act like dump and and fall for stupid traps!?

yes I just watch the last episode and he did . ( I only watched the last episode to see if she forgive the ml but , it's another Cdrama ml has to kill himself before fl give him another chance, ep 27 preview, and she still playing hard to get ) and I argue she will never show him the love she had for him at Start, this happen in most of Cdramas like this, fl's love before break up never the same after, I feel like they only like mls after , and give them second chance because they kill themselves to earn it 😅 not the pure love fls had at the start of drama, like in Cdrama everyone love me

another cliche fl working with someone confess to her and he still waiting for a chance even when get rejected and ml act silly because of him , and she watch them like kids fighting, and she takes all her time making him wish he never made that mistake because of how long it takes her to forgive him 🙂,

I just watch 27 preview and she still playing hard to get !!!! so most of the drama they're separated and he's making himself stupid and silly chasing after her !! this is like many Cdramas ml do something wrong he has to apologize all drama till the end to get forgiveness, but fl make mistakes all it takes one little apology and that's it, and she act like she did more than enough 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 like in Cdrama everyone love me ml get humiliated before she forgive him to slap him again and blame him for something he didn't do , but she didn't even apologize , like she didn't do anything wrong 🤣😅🤣 Cdrama writers 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

I stopped watching Cdramas not never watched any. and I said I read a lot about Cdramas (a lot), including spoilers on this site (https://dramaslot.com/category/chinese/). If you like, you can read spoilers about some Cdramas there. I also watched some clips of this Cdrama and saw how he was and how much he changed—it’s not rocket science 😅🤣

and most how he changed completely from serious cold to a silly clueless teenager want to get his angry girlfriend back 😅

What I love about them isn’t the slow pace, but how the male and female leads love each other equally—sacrificing, understanding, and no one of them make it hard for another to be with him . (It’s frustrating when one makes more effort, and the other takes it for granted! and at the end say he also love him the same !!! how )

I also love that their partner is always the priority, not jobs or dreams. In many recent Cdramas, female leads prioritize careers over male leads—they can lose the ml , but not their job 😒😔.( Writers often make it seem like being a good wife or girlfriend is impossible while being independent and strong, and that the ML must tolerate it all and support her doing that .

Road Home has the best female lead after Princess and Lighter's fl (hidden love fl is out of any comparison 😅🤣) , showing love with words and actions, .

Meet Yourself also has a strong, well-balanced couple. I skip slow parts because I watch for romance and couple chemistry, not for the female lead’s journey.

and mostly those dramas without love triangle or break ups 😅.

yes , you're right , I agree with you, and that's why I stopped watching Cdramas , because I can't find any recent Cdrama like Cdrama ROAD HOME or Forever and ever ... . so I only read comments and enjoy reading that they all have same big lines and different problems,v and be happy I didn't waste my time , because its always about the fl who wants to be successful and independent and make her man worship her 🤣 so she win in every aspect of life, and be a great example for others to dream about in their sleep 😅🤣

It's a Cdrama, so the FL is always right and has her reasons for doing wrong. But the MLs are always evil, and they need to suffer and wait until she becomes successful in her work. He has to make himself silly while chasing her to win her back and completely change his personality.

When she gets back with him, she doesn’t do anything like she used to do before the break up, because now she’s an independent, strong woman She doesn’t need to do anything to show her love for him—he’s the only one who should do that. She has more important things to focus on, and being a good wife is not one of them , like being one will not make her stay successfully independent ( this writers plots I always find it toxic in Cdramas and kdramas) He should accept that because now she’s successful like he was acting in first part ( even when they make it looks wrong for him doing that, and we return to the first statement that fl always right even if she's doing something wrong ) 😅🤣.

If you watch recent rom-coms, most of the plots are about the FL going through a breakup and having an ex, while the ML is a virgin. The recent drama of this actor is like that — the girl was talking about her intimate life with her boyfriend in front of him, and he was even selling her condoms 😅🤣. I think you watched it and rated it a 10 😅.

(I know that from a female perspective, it’s nice to have a man who worships his girlfriend), but from my perspective, it was humiliating. That’s why I asked if he’s like that again here too. But as you said, he has a less important role here than in the other drama, and he’s just a “gift” for her — a reward for her hard work and for her bad luck with her lousy ex-boyfriend. like most MLs in rom-com, they only have one job is to fall in love with fls .

Sorry for the rant. I get this drama is for women and about how they overcome their problems. It’s not something I’d watch, thank you for saving my time.

I dislike if they use again the cliche that she mistrust the ml and trust sml after she get her memories back or some stupid misunderstanding , I bet they will use it, but let's wait and see how they make her resolve the case .
