Bashing the writers and director, to be exact and once again, you make it about women. 😒😮‍💨😮‍💨

To be honest, when I watched the first episodes and she seemed innocent — like she really wanted to marry him just for peace — I felt sorry for her because of how he treated her. I dislike him specially she was acting weak and innocent with her cute face and voice it makes you want to fight him for what he did but ....

But when I realized she was lying and just using her good acting ( the character not the actress just so you don't use against me to say I hate the actress I don't trust what you will say even though f I didn't mean what you said about me ) to manipulate him — to make him believe she trusted and loved him — and how she used his guilt to get what she wanted, and still got angry at him for not trusting her... that’s when I saw this drama is just another cliché.

The female lead doesn’t do anything for the male lead, yet he still falls in love with her after she kicks his ass. She takes revenge on him for doing something she didn’t like, but expects him not to take revenge for her family’s betrayal. And the worst part? She didn’t even do anything to make up for what her family did to him — no apology, no effort, nothing — yet she still uses him for her family. 🤣😅😅

Again, I’m talking about the writers who wrote this character — don’t make it about women. I don’t watch Thai dramas because they often write male leads to be so toxic, sometimes even slapping the female lead.

Another thing — in a lot of C-dramas like this, the FL slaps the ML. Lol. I even asked for the timestamp just to skip that scene so I could try watching the drama, but it turned out to be more than just a slap.

And yes, it’s my freedom to write as much as I want and about whatever I want — it’s none of your business. I’ve never disrespected any viewers, actresses, or actors. But still, you and others (especially women) hate my comments and even treat me disrespectfully — just because I criticize some fictional characters.

LOL, it's not about women—it's about the female leads (FLs), the characters. So just because I don't like how they're written, or how they're portrayed compared to the male leads (MLs), suddenly that means I hate women or have issues with them!? That’s like saying if you dislike some male leads, then you must have a problem with men in real life. Sounds ridiculous, right?

And clearly, you haven’t read my comments properly to understand why I dislike certain clichés in C-dramas and K-dramas. I've even mentioned several C-dramas where I actually do like the FLs—because they're written well, have good dialogue, and the MLs respect them and put in effort, not just blindly simp over them while the FLs take advantage of it like in this kind of plot.

In most of these dramas, the ML does something wrong, and the FL makes him suffer half the drama, and he’s the one endlessly apologizing. But when the FL does the same mistake, the ML barely gets mad—maybe for a couple of episodes—and then he’s the one who ends up apologizing just for getting upset in the first place 😂. The FL then gives a half-hearted apology, and if the ML doesn’t accept it immediately, she’s the one who gets mad, and he has to apologize again 🤣.

Don’t tell me this isn’t how most C-dramas go—because if you say no, I’ll know you haven’t watched them 😅.

And again, we’re talking about fictional characters in a drama—not you or women in real life. That’s not my business. If someone in real life chooses to be in that kind of relationship, that’s their life, and they’re free to live it however they want.

So next time, don’t label it as misogyny just because I criticize how drama writers write female leads. 👍 Learn to separate real life from fictional characters —respectfully , and sorry if I make you think I hate you 🙃

Even when she takes advantage of him, he just goes silent and lets her do it. But when he does something she doesn't like, she takes revenge on him. When he stops trusting her, she gets angry at him. And when she takes advantage of his trust, he just has to take the L, apologize, and feel guilty — while she never does the same.

I'm with you—I hate love triangles and second male leads (SMLs). And those who say "it's not a love triangle just because the SML loves the FL" are the same people who claim that the SML is only there to make the ML jealous so he’ll be afraid to lose her and finally confess. They say, "It’s only a love triangle if the FL likes him back!" — but that’s not true at all, especially in C-dramas and K-dramas.

The SML loves the FL and acts annoyingly just to stay close to her—especially when the FL is written to be so dumb and clueless that she treats him like a friend or even like a mother would, completely unaware of his feelings or her own husband's feelings. Meanwhile, the ML is sitting there, all jealous, acting like a loser, watching his wife smiling and happy around another man. Even if she doesn’t love the SML, she’s still close to him and does things that make the ML jealous—so yes, it's a love triangle.

And seriously, how can a supposedly smart FL not notice the difference in how the SML acts around her compared to how he acts with others? You’d think she’d at least suspect he has feelings for her. But no—she can read her enemies’ faces and emotions like a master strategist, yet somehow her own husband's jealousy or the SML's obvious love completely fly over her head?! Like, really!?

It's a C-drama. Unfortunately, it's only for women who like to see "women empowerment" and men being degraded 😅. They write the female leads as nearly perfect—actually, I’d bet they're always perfect. Even when she makes a big mistake and the male lead gets mad, she somehow has every right to do it. And in the end, he is the one who apologizes more than she does just for getting upset 😅.

They always give the FL a good reason for her actions, and it's always because the ML is evil or bad 😅🤣. When she does something bad or tricks him, he just takes the L and moves on. But whenever he does something she doesn’t like, she makes him pay for it until he apologizes and puts in the effort to make it up to her. Only then does she "forgive" him.

Obviously, she takes advantage of this. She benefits her clan by using him, yet he never does anything in return. She easily gains his trust again, even though she’s technically his enemy. She always says, "We're a married couple," and blames him for not thinking like her—but in truth, she doesn’t think like him either. She gains way more from the marriage than he does. From the very beginning, she accepted that she would use his love to protect her family and get what she could, just like her grandfather advised her. But she didn’t follow his other advice: to treat him well and be a good wife!

I stopped watching C-dramas because of this—like you said, the dynamics are illogical and unrealistic. How can you respect your family’s killer? How can you protect them and change your life-long revenge plan just because of a woman who tricked you for her family’s benefit?

She never even considers how miserable he must feel because of her family. Every time he does something wrong, she gets revenge. But if he wants revenge, he’s portrayed as evil and heartless 😅😅. It’s a FL-centric drama, so don’t expect the man to be anything other than a loser simp who exists only to make the FL happy—and be a submissive loving husband that has no opinion different from her or it's always her opinion is right,

without talking hiw they make her have supper powers ( even more smart than sun tzu) in seconds she thinks of plans to win wars and cities without moving from her place, like her enemies is just pawn on her hands that she play with,from her husband till his servants lol even when they ml look Smart she use his smartness against him and win over him and he just take the L and fall for her 🤣😅

LOL, you gave me another reason not to watch it 😂. And what I meant by 'simp' is after he falls for her — because there's no simping when there's hatred 😅🙃. I do feel sorry for her, bubo, but remember she had her grandfather’s debt — and that’s nothing compared to the fact that she betrayed his family. His father, grandfather, and brother all got killed while he was watching. So some rain, a bit of choking, and a little scratch? That’s nothing. In the end, she wins, and he forgives them, she suffer a little bit for that it's a good bargain in my opinion don't you think that!?

I’ve seen lots of comments saying that she made him learn to be submissive and fall deeply for her — and how he’s fated to be her simp. These are comments that praise him, not bash him 😅. But I haven’t read anything saying she did something like that in return.

if you watch road home drama and forever and ever and princess and lighter, and intense love, a the sword and the brocade cdrama ( even first half is how she's think he's evil and misunderstood him but she changed and Loved him deeply) this dramas I like how the relationships and how fls do everything for ml and love them unconditionally like mls did , specially road home my favorite drama because of how fl Loved ml and how she have boundaries and emotional intelligence and she show her love always.

I really want to see a female lead who’s not nearly perfect or always smarter than everyone else, especially the male lead. I want to see an equal relationship, where the female lead also loves the male lead the way he loves her — not where she always has more important things than him, while he always puts her first.

If you’ve watched Road Home, that drama has one of the best relationships I’ve seen in a C-drama. And it shows that doing “simp” things isn’t always simping — the male lead does it because the female lead actually deserves the best treatment, because she loves him deeply and puts him first too. Not like the usual setup where the male lead is always simping over a female lead who still has her ex around or treats her job as more important than him.

And I noticed in this drama too — the female lead never really puts the male lead first. Her family always comes first (even though he is part of her family now 🙃).and again he say he likes her making he family first even if he's second lol

I also don’t like that he went through with it. I don’t like abuse scenes in general, especially slapping scenes, because they’re used too often in C-dramas — and the male leads usually act like it’s nothing and still chase after the female leads, like in the C-drama Sweet Love, lol.

And I get that it’s often shown as justified when the female lead slaps the male lead if he does something wrong — but then, is it okay for the male lead to do the same if she does something wrong? You see how it’s acceptable for her to slap him because he made a mistake, but if he did the same, it would suddenly be seen as unacceptable? That’s what I don’t like about female-lead-centric C-dramas. They always make her nearly perfect, and the male lead is always portrayed as wrong — even when he’s not.

Another friend also explained to me that the story takes place over a year, starting from enemies to lovers, so it made sense that he wouldn't sleep with her while still confused about his promises.

And yes, maybe you're right. From what I've seen, there’s no real equality in this drama. It’s all about the female lead, and they show how she beats him at everything — war, strategy, tricks, and even love. So he’s always beneath her. He’s not as smart, and they make him look foolish many times — like the scene where he tricked her to win the city, but lost it quickly, and she was the one who gave it back to him. I think a lot of people like how she always wins and how she’s training him to be a submissive, unconditionally loving partner who gives up everything for her 😅🤣.
