lol, as Lanxi uses enticing hints of silver to encourage civilians to work on the canals, he also uses enticing hints of food to encourage Xiyun to pay closer attention to him.
Wow, Wuyuan really has his plotting claws deeply embedded in Jizhou's palace politics hey ... because I just can't believe ministers who have been close enough to be as brothers to their rulers would actually have turned on him like that. To my mind, it must be Wuyuan...
bad stuff? are you taking abt the crying FLX emoji in the old schedule??
Mmm. To me this preview implies Wuyuan has enacted some plan against Lanxi (some time after the poison plot from the governer in ep 24 obviously) to have injured Lanxi - which is what makes me wonder if the pills/flower mentioned above might have something to do with Lanxi still being able to cross the pond.
edit : Duh. I must be wrong. The inner force injury and pond crossing test come before the pills emoji, so they must be separate events.
Sigh. This is the danger of previews. Getting myself confused there.
I remember when, I think it was in the King's Avatar, there was an emoji of a panda offering up incense. I'd really…
I feel it's only a matter of time before multitudes of others join with me in this divinely cultivated comprehension that The Ponytail is the true ML of this series.
According to the old schedule, there is a kiss scene today. Waiting!!!
I remember when, I think it was in the King's Avatar, there was an emoji of a panda offering up incense. I'd really like to use that emoji at a time like this, but I can never find one. But anyway...
ππ€ May the heavens bless us with The Ponytail in tonight's/the upcoming kiss scene. I sacrifice these happy hour drinks in the name of this coming true... πΎπ₯π₯π₯ If you want more of where those drinkies came from, script gods, made this wish come true. π€πππ₯Ίππ
Look this drama started out so well and then descended into going nowhere, this script is so subpar but thank…
I disagree with your assertion that the script is "below average".
You (and more than a few others in these comments) might dislike that the plot has dragged on in the politics of the capital, but your dislike doesn't mean the script itself is "below average".
Average being the medium point of all scripts considered.
"Below average" isn't just a measure of your own subjective opinion, you need to take into aaaaaaaaaaall the other cdramas made, and there a more than a few with silly/nonsensical/stupid/dragging scripts out there.
All in all, despite more than a handful of you here in the comments disliking the ongoing 'political' arena of the script, it is still one of the better/more tightly scripted dramas I've watched. I don't dispute your and others having your own personal opinions that you dislike the 'political' nature of the script, but, just imho, it's a step too far to call the script "below average" or even "subpar".
Just baked a chocolate cake, this with a cup of coffee and a few episodes of WRTW after a long day of academic…
I watched the latest episodes with a chocolate lava cake, some iced coffee, and rounded it out with some black grapes. Ended up with several hours of diarrhea. :/
Someone on twitter said that South Korea has bought the right to broadcast this drama. And drama viewing on china…
lol. I have a vague memory of some days back a horde of negative nellies coming to this comments section and crowing about how the series was such a failure because of supposed low viewing figures at that time.
Quick learner ^^

Keep in mind this is said internally by YWY who knows about Lanxi's double identity.
:/
it's a toss-up
It's a deeper truth that cannot be denied.

edit: at the very least, not when you've read the novel ^^

But I could be wrong, it was a few years back.
I hope your evening went better. XD
