There comes a point when watching wuxia where you realise why ancient China probably never needed to ever consider a one child policy.

I'm not taking anything at face value ever since that string of scenes with Chang and Yu trying to surprise visit Lanxi and the hot springs. Chang beats up a maid yet turns out to be helping. Yu seems to care for the maid's wellbeing yet turns out to be a conniver.

So Yu Wuyuan appears to be very clean cut and refined? He might end up being someone bathes in the tears of babies who were orphaned by his schemes! mwahahaaa

Huang Chao was very blackmailish in this last episode though.

The 'either you help me win with your rhetoric, or I win with swords'.

But hey, It's Leon Lai who delivered that dilemma, so I'm totally barracking for Huang Chao. XD

I'm referring to those scenes where the background is very hazy/blurred. They obviously aren't filmed in nature. If they were filmed in nature, there would be no reason to have lost so much focus in the shot.

I'm assuming they probably did some re-shoots or something.

Really, it's a good production, but you don't need to go so over the top with the praise. They aren't paying you that much. ^^

It seems to me the background has a fair amount of greenscreen. As in, the somewhat blurry brightish backgrounds. If you had a higher resolution it would just make the green screen backing more discernable.

Personally, I'm good with the 1080p.

But then, my eyes are getting worse, lol.

I'm not providing an excuse for him.

I'm just saying, character wise, his reaction does make sense.
