Yeah maybe. I also think there’s something wrong with my own speakers, lol. Voices start bellowing for no reason (this is also happening for my Netflix kdramas, which I know historically has never been an issue)

The women of the Xie family are boring me.. hah.. there’s also just something off about this show, but I can’t put my finger on what it is. Maybe the scenes are too choppy? Dialogue a bit forced? Honestly no idea what it is. Not trying to hate, something just feels missing to me

Yeah I was pretty skeptical when she got casted and avoided watching this show until yesterday

But I think everything was done really well, and I can’t imagine anyone else playing her role!

Also the actress is noticeably older than Ami (nothing wrong with that by itself) but Le Lun actress’ gaze / mannerisms / presence all feel more immature. Ok I’m done 🫡
