I agree. until this point of the show, the thing that I like about it is that is that the reactions are very genuine.…
Yeah I think you put it well. Everyone’s interactions are fairly in line with reality haha!

Also random, but I like how the writer / director put together the scenes where he steps in to help her — she was doing alright on her own but he always steps in and makes things easier. So far, they’re crafting some nice “knight in shiny armor” scenes without sacrificing her independence / intelligence which I really appreciate

Not sure why but the leads’ acting and characterizations feel like a breath of fresh air. Maybe cuz even when the ML is down bad, you can see him still retaining his original cold personality instead of turning into a goofy giggly 16 year old. FL is great too, trying to figure out modern day life in a fairly logical way. It’s nice to see them acting (as opposed to overacting and calling that comedy)

LOL i'm cracking up at ep36 -- show went meta, poking fun of twitter / weibo wars between solo and cp stans

i think the show's strength is in the emotions it evokes. it takes its time to build up the relationships / comradery between everyone, giving the story a lot of depth. while the plot isn't as strong (but i think still one of the better ones out of the recent shows), it's still a very enjoyable watch. you can tell the director put in a lot of effort into every scene, with all the little details, small actions happening in the background. all the actors did well too, there were no weak links :)

I feel like people who find the ML annoying, do not understand how utterly lonely life can be, and sometimes all…
It's a bit of a difficult watch for me, as I don't understand why he doesn't just distance himself from that group. He's a thorn to them, and their attitude is toxic to his mental health. Wouldn't it be better for everyone if he just left? It's not like they're providing him any help in the film industry either.

I'm not hating btw. I just truly don't understand the premise

Title Love beyond the Grave Spoiler
not Arthur Chen's character yet again casually sleeping with his FL within the first ~5 (?) episodes hahaha (looking at you, Sima Jiao)

This drama has different types of humor that aren't available in (most) other dramas. When I saw the trailer,…
im just glad the humor is slightly more nuanced vs some of the other slapstick ones haha

But LYN clarified a while back that they are just friends. Only a professional relationship.
some ZLS fans pretend to be fans of another celeb and spew hate / ragebait, trying to put that celeb's fandom into a bad light. they're literally insane

i can see the trolls already swarming all social media platforms to trash them. Funny were the idiots who started…
are they green tea trolls who i think they are? they already messed up one of my favorite shows back in December (not all their fault), and i actually quite like this one so far too...

As someone who watch many dramas, truly 1 of the best chemistry I have ever seen. They are really up there for…
We’re three months into 2026 and I haven’t been able to finish a romance drama bc everything pales in comparison to SAL lol

I don’t love how bold and confrontational the FL is, but it’s well justified given all the bullying and unfair bs she dealt with in her modern life from not speaking up

Watching episode 1, I’m surprised by Zhou Ye’s acting. I also love how they did her looks. She’s not afraid…
Yeah I noticed that too, she doesn’t have the typical idol actress baggage of trying to look perfect in every frame

The dream in the title is making me anxious they are not going to make the ending a dream too right.

Not sure if anyone has said this, but I don't think there is any scene where JZ has to do a lot, has an outburst…
💯, the subtle ones are harder to perform imo

Hmm, I think I’m going to drop it. I’m currently on episode 18 and honestly it’s getting complicated, but…
She gets a lot better after the time skip. She’s a lot less stiff after she gets “older”.

While I think she could’ve played the younger version better, I still enjoyed her acting. I think it’s a tough balance to play an inexperienced 20 year old (she’s even younger in the novel, which the script and the plot basically mirrors) while bringing out chemistry as well, so that’s why I thought she did a pretty good job

But if you don’t wanna wait until the time skip around ep 19/20, that’s also in your rights
