It still astounds me that Ming's family thinks they they can lay their hands on Joe that easily. The audacity…
I always took his inability to show off Joe was due to class difference, his own uncertain heart and getting judged by Tong more than anything. His mom's futile attempts and brother's covering up for him just gave the impression that he's not in anyone's control. Tong's hold on to him I didn't count among forceful power because it was out of Ming's heart which he had to overcome himself without external interference. Clearly the way I'd been looking at it wasn't what the author intended.
He just had so much power over the Joes that it didn't occur to me that he can be so powerless too. Like his false pretense had very real consequences for Joe. But he was like that spoiled prince who can do anything to his subjects but when it came to the king he is nothing.
Also if we look at him like it was intended then Joe would always have been nothing more than his mistress regardless of Ming's change of heart, until Joe would've been able to escape himself that is. It is only when he died that the things changed.
Translate by meThe big brother: It's not too late to change your mind now. There's plenty of good people to date…
I don't know what could make the older brother believe it is the same Joe, but I really really want Tong to know and believe it. It'll be a sight to see.

Then I wasn't paying enough attention lol. My entire beef with this situation is that Ming hasn't even began to earn Joe back and it's already kind of them vs world. But if I see it as a part of earning Joe's trust back which it is too then it seems fine. This will probably also help to keep Joe's resentment for everything's he's been through by his hands at bay in the future which I was always in love with your back not Tong's doesn't cut it.
I am so looking forward to this one, but after the suffering of waiting for each Friday, I might wait a bit. This…
The last time I'd gone so miserable waiting for next part of any fiction was years and years ago for a manga Pandora Hearts. I know MyStandIn is doing well but I want it to be an even bigger sucess it's just so good.
Destined with You is on my ptw courtesy of the first wonderfully scary scene on a YouTube reel. I will get around to see it soon.

Do you like where this story is going? Maybe I didn't pay enough attention but I was not expecting the Ming who just easily played around with both Joe's lives and seemed independent and in control enough to do anything to turn into such a helpless boy infront of his father that he isn't capable of protecting himself let alone Joe. Did you expect that it will go this way?
In another news Ming set up the dogs to let himself in Joe's house π€£ Joe has no chance against this guy.
'Police received noise complaint from a quiet town. They came and found a young man in his mid 20's leading 3 dogs and periodically asking them to bark. A few feet away another man stood near a fence crying like he was in a drama. It is believed that it was a film crew that filmed overtime without permission. The accused man was found to be a secretary and was fined 500 bhatt and kindly asked to not let it happen again.'
This love doesn't have long beans is also airing it's first episode tomorrow. I hope it'll help me keep my mind off whatever hurt Joe will have to go through this episode π

Joe didn't even have those yet he didn't turn out to be a piece of shit π. l can not summon any sympathy for Ming when he has been rolling around in money, making people his playthings with siblings as loving as willing to die for him and mom doesn't seem all that bad either tbh
But yes this family's entire modis operandi starts and ends from entitlement and money. I guess that happens when you are so privileged in life but it pisses me off for Joe's sake lol I will only start accepting Ming once he's effectively protected Joe (at which he failed terribly last episode) and drag himself through mud for his sake which he seems to be kinda doing the next episode thankfully.
A sneak peek. Is that what they are called? I don't know. For the episode 11. No subs. Just to make the waiting…
It still astounds me that Ming's family thinks they they can lay their hands on Joe that easily. The audacity and the entitlement, the apple really doesn't fall far from the tree.
Idk much about the director but the scenes shown in the trailer looks pretty nice. The writer actually has a pretty…
I can't say much but take yours and other fans information about the new team on face value as I'm not aware of any details myself and if it is to be believed I guess there doesn't seem like there's too much to worry about. There was definitely room for improvement in s1, so let's see.
What was the original writer's viewpoint and vision for s2?
A terrible idea came into my mind for the ending and that is Joe getting shot covering for Ming and getting into coma for 2 years again and of course Ming will be his nurse throughout and when he wakes up he can only recognize his mom and his suicide as his last memory. Joe.1 is gone, Joe. 2 is back? π€― But a while later Ming realizes Joe remembers everything and is just too traumatized to not distance himself from all the messy business of his previous 2 lives. Then they reconcile because of course how could Joe not yearn for his darling. They cry and hug and Ming makes him happy forever. The end.
I am slightly embarrassed to type this angsty nonsense but I had to π
Ming is grounded by dad and Joe is kidnapped in place of Tong by the mafia guys Tong took loan from. Joe selling…
I admit I got lost somewhere in the medical terms by the 7th para but I was fully in when the physical consequences came into discussion.
This basically needs to be compiled into a report and presented to Ming so he can realise the extend of damage his passion could do. I'm sure his eyes will pop open.
Joe certainly knows the sufferings weren't worth it but it's never been upto him to decide. And I feel like Joe…
And on Ming's transformation to a good guy. Nature does not change but people do grow up from experience and adapt. Ming is a spoiled man who thought that the world owes him, he is be all and what could be better than himself for someone like Joe.
So even till Ep 9, he was still trying to pull the same shit to get Joe back but Joe's clear rejection finally put some sense in his brain that he ain't the shit he thought himself to be and he cannot have love by force. Basically finally Joe putting up clear boundaries makes Ming adapt, and this is where his growth is.
And then as we can see he changed his entire approach come ep 10 (even secretary Jim was surprised "but you said..." because who knows what Ming had planned to make Joe his again before)
So Ming isn't going to take Joe for granted like he did before, neither will Joe put up with his nonsense to the degree he did before (which was tbh enabling Ming). So yes there will be positive changes in their relationship and while Ming is faulty enough to hurt him again, it would never be as bad as before, and knowing that the love is real makes any mild to moderate negativity from Ming quite tolerable for Joe.
Aka he'll make Joe happy much more than sad and that's the best we could get from these two together.

What Ming provides to Joe isn't just love, it's a sense of belonging too I believe. And with having lost everything even his own body who else could give him a feeling of home? Not friends like Wut or Sol but Ming who he was deeply in love with, who stayed with him at his place and whom Joe had decided on as his lifelong partner. Ming and his literal house is where he belonged and they even came as a package when he came back.
It is really hard to distance himself from this specifically because he died and lost himself, if I'm making any sense.
If Joe had someone familial behind him, he wouldn't have just been looking at Ming's way that I am sure. Because if there is one thing Joe realized after his body discovery it was that his love was a mistake, but Ming just wouldn't leave him alone when he's already so weak for him.
So despite whatever wrong Ming did to him, I am not surprised he folded so quickly on the confirmation of true love and a little care from his side, and as ridiculous as it may sound knowing Ming kidnapped him to have him rather than please someone else does take a bite out of this whole scenario for Joe (like he belongs with someone and he isn't the only one who thinks that?what a win π)
It's all very toxic but it is what it is and I'm analysing it way too much but I'm sure my interpretation is correct lol.
