It is simple consistent details like this that makes this drama brilliant. Yes it has tropes, cliches buttttttt the more familiar something feels the more it demands perfection in execution. No drama is perfect that is just not possible but if WTPR manages to stick its landing in the finale 4 episodes, we can make a safe bet this drama will join the legacy as one of the great Korean dramas ever made, if not THE BEST in its genre.

Sang Woo is safe bet that he is good guy, he was just an orphan a witness to young Paek Saeon's crimes. In the car when fake Paek Saeon blocked him and demanded Hee Joo get out, Sang woo was genuinely scared that fake Saeon will hurt HeeJoo. He studied psychiatry because of his childhood experiences. Now the question is does Sang woo know the name of the child who did those crimes, it doesn't seem like it otherwise he would be afraid of fake Paek Saeon.

It is the best of the year 2024 so far, but the mysteries are getting convoluted so they unwrap this neatly and not rush the end.

I think real Paek Saeon is Park Do Jae, they are trying to fool us with 2 eyes guy with a burn mark on his neck, this dude wants revenge for his dead twin brother. 2 eyes guy doesn't even know that Paek Saeon he wants to harm is fake, he is being fooled by the Master who is the real Paek Saeon (Park DoJae). Also InA is so smug thinking she rejected fake Paek SaEon, but ML booted her ass with the fake DNA report to marry HeeJoo the woman he loves. He prepared the fake DNA report, it is only half true as he is the illegitimate son. Also the car accident is no accident, truth which Senior Paek and Senior Hong know but Paek Saeon's parents don't know that their psychopath boy caused it. So real Paek Saeon is a meticulous planner he is a stable psychopath which fits Park DoJae, the 2 eyes guy is too deranged to be real Paek Saeon.

Exactly it was perfect, passion was on target, it can't be let's tap in and out, not this couple and def not him. It was in line with their characters.

Ohhhh I luv it but if you chase after every symbolism in the narrative then logic will die, a good story writer must find the balance in staging things to look poignant versus keeping common sense.

She didn't know because she didn't want to know, denial can dull your senses, just like he was too slow to figure it out. Counter argument to this complaint is that it is already irresponsible of her to hold on to that phone for as long as she did. she was being selfish and he indulged her. resilience is her strong point we are shown this multiple times not just told, she is a victim of systematic abuse for decades, she carries deep psychological trauma, but she bounces back she is a survivor. Bad man is coming for that phone it is human that her initial reaction is to panic, but what next, she has to get rid of that phone ASAP that is what a smart character would do . Why meet in the amusement park, it was the sight of her last happy memory with her siblings before she was never happy again.

There are not enough harsh words to describe how this trend needs to STOP NOW. Beyond the point of it simply being creepy, it is unethical, morally reprehensible to mislead the audience, dangerous to show actors in such scenes that they did not perform in, there is the issue of consent can you morph anyone's pic like that just for your amusement.

The writers made an effort to stress multiple time that Heejoo is physically stronger than the average person, her stamina is excellent and she can almost match Baek Saeon in strength. So it is not outside the realm of possibility that a physically stronger individual can survive things that would kill a less fit person.

yessssssss the details in this drama, show do not tell and don't over explain things and if you do explain provide it in a clever way that ties up the lose ends. things like this shows how seriously they took the script and appreciated the audience intelligence to notice such details. saeon is a perfectionist, he said he is going to do the best husband and there is no half measures with this guy ofcourse he will go over the top.

But the anticipation creates tension it is different kind of fun muahhhhhhhh

It is not illogical if you followed his character closely, what he says and what he does. He said multiple times he will not force her to do something she doesn't want to, and his winning quality he is reflective of his own failings. He does not demand from her what he does not do himself, he is keeping secrets himself so how dare he confront her. Also when he suspected she was having an affair, he was jealous but he did not blame her, he reflected back on the past at the start of their marriage when he shut down her efforts to be his wife and called their marriage a farce, thus so how dare he demand fidelity when he knows he has not been a good husband. Not threatening her to talk is the most logical thing about him. He wants his wife to love him and not corner her, abuse her the way her mother does.

Someone like him who is so meticulous, demands perfection, an overachiever, obsessively in love, such a man in love will NOT KNOW something that blocks him out of his lover's world. He would find not knowing as loss of control and he is the kind of guy who needs control.
