Under 40 kg for a full grown woman is insane. My friendβs parents still deny the existence of mental health.…
My husband & his family are mixed Chinese (his mother half-her father is Chinese and mother American) and his sister & mother suffered from (what I saw it as - depression) for a long time, but they always refuted it and treated it as 'taboo' when I tried to convince them and their family that she (his sister) needed mental help. His sister ultimately ended her life and his mother followed the same way not long after. They were both super weight-conscious as well and stayed around 100lbs and his sister was 5'7".
One thing I've learnt so far from being an observant of C-Entertainment is: never trust anything coming from Weibo…
I agree with this. I've seen so many posts and comments appear/trend/be in the top, to only disappear not long after or be replaced with the opposite. It's heavily 'controlled'.
I read the novel first, so I knew exactly what was going to happen, but the last ep did feel a little 'off' with the war stuff even though I read it beforehand π It really felt like they were trying to rush like 10 chapters (ending of the novel +the extra bonus chs) into 1 ep. I think this would've been better with like 14-16 eps total. They skipped a lot of their spicy phone flirting and extra important info about/in Argon. For non-novel readers, throwing that in there without a thorough back story can be really confusing.
Real BSE was a psychopath that could easily kill anyone on the spot. He could just shoot him through the window right there if he wanted to or shoot out a tire etc. He toyed with him the entire time. Fake BSE was a professional negotiator and can read people. He knew he wouldn't kill him so easily and wanted to f with him more mentally. And as for the real BSE, when the cops showed up, he knew he was a goner, so he prob put his gun up to purposefully get shot. He wanted fake BSE to suffer and he was satisfied with his reaction when he told him about what his father did.
I am only 5 episodes in and I have to take a break. My chest hurts, my cheeks hurt. Hell, my whole face hurts. I can't BREATHE! I HAVEN'T LAUGHED SO HARD IN FOREVER. I was not expecting this to have so many hilarious scenes.
I know the funny parts will start getting real serious soon, but I'm enjoying the comedy so far.
I don't think he's actually dead. They panned away when 'triangle' shot him. And as a professional shooter, she'd know where to shoot that wouldn't be a critical spot. I think 11 fake-shot him and will try to save him!
The last episode...... Whyyy didn't he just be like to the 'O' ppl "Hey, so I've won and I have 46 billion so if you take these guns and help me fight these guards I'll pay you a billion a piece when we make it out of here!" Like, dude is rich and DOES NOT CARE about the money, these guys are here for MONEY so whyyyy wouldn't you offer that? Why not even think of doing it? He's supposedly there to 'save more lives' but in the end he just caused more lives to be lost.... that part just didn't make sense to me. And also, okay you overpower the guards and everyone even on his own team just agrees with the fact that 1. There is no telling how many guards there even are, 2 . They have guns and lots of them, 3. They'd be fighting the guards AND the Os AND sacrificing half of their own people to do so, 4. They don't even know WHERE they are and what island they're on so how tf did they plan to get out after the fight? 5. If they fought the guards, they would no longer win money because they just murdered half of the people responsible for them getting money. 6. You don't know if the guards were forced to be there either or if they desperately need money like you and who are also playing some type of game too. So, fighting the guards made zero sense for either side and for anyone to agree to. I was having a hard time believing any of that and rolling my eyes throughout that entire scene.
Everything was really predictable up to that, but I'm a writer, so I can predict what's going to happen in most shows MOST of the time. I was hoping the stuff I predicted in this one wouldn't happen and that I was wrong each time, but I wasn't and it did happen lol. That's not that big of the deal. But the last ep just made zero sense to me.
Added: Unless they just really REALLY want Gi-hun to be super dislikable/hated by making him super super dumb so that they can kill him off next season without angering too many people lol (I have done this with an MC before).
