In the end, I just want to know if there was any break up between the main leads, and if it happened, how many…
Weirdly enough everything is so bad in this show that the breakups are the least of your worries. In fact, even you feel like you need a break let alone the characters. 😅
The only thing this drama is guilty of is being mid/just ok. The way people in the comments are going at it you’d think it was a disaster like some of the other dramas that people are gushing over. This drama had good things like being funny, lighthearted, enjoyable and a little bit playful. There are at least a few iconic meme-able moments. Overall not the best but certainly not bad.
Agreed! I see too often how a show has no plot or is going to slow and I'm like...its a story, its not supposed…
FACTS on FACTS on FACTS. The fact that Minato’s Laundromat Season 2 and The Real Has Come have higher ratings than this, shows that MDL ratings should not be trusted. Those shows are ABYSMAL - like objectively bad. At least this show is decent.
No, but seriously. This is on us. We keep tuning in to abysmal shows so writers know they can keep throwing terrible shows at us and we’ll take it. 😭😭😭
I have questions, I really don't understand DH's mother. I mean she hasn't believed her son from jump it seems…
I have some answers and some theories. 😁
I think the deal with ML’s mum is that she initially just wanted to cover it all up as the scandal was bad for her career. Regardless of whether the ML expired his ex or not, it’s all the same to her (an inconvenience). Now that it’s all out in the open again she realises that he needs to be proven innocent in order for her to retain her career. It’s all for her career.
As for the CEO and his brother; I think they know more about that night than the ML (even though I don’t think they are the culprits either). I sincerely believe the ML’s mother paid off the CEO for the alibi and he used it to start his business. Both the CEO and his brother grew up in the same town as ML. They all knew each other.
The witness is the one I’m also intrigued by. If I had to guess I’d say the witness is FL’s father and he witnessed something that night while living in the woods. It would explain why they brought him into the story at this point.
Didn’t they say they had matching rings? So wouldn’t it be plausible that the ring they found on the ex’s body is her ring? If not, it seems someone is trying to frame ML.
My theory is that she committed s-cide. Only because I’m not convinced about any of the characters being the culprit so far. I think someone buried her to make it look like foul play in order to earn money from her demise. Either blackmail (unknown character), extortion for an alibi (CEO), or for the insurance money (The father). I’ve ruled the father out as I don’t think he would have had the patience to purposely wait on that insurance money. I think extortion is most likely and that the CEO and his brother stumbled on the ex’s expired body after she expired herself. The CEO sees that it’s s-cide but his brother is a bit dumber so immediately jumps to the conclusion that ML expired her. The CEO sees this as his chance to get money from ML’s mum to start his business and justifies it by saying his friend won’t go down for it as he’s offering him an alibi. To him at that point, he didn’t think he was hurting anyone. I think as the years went by he started to feel guiltier and guiltier. He was hoping people would forget and that ML would be able to live a normal life but it hasn’t turned out that way. I also think he’s not entirely unhappy that ML has had to be stuck working for him and relying on him. He found yet another way that ML was beneficial to him.
How much better would this series have been if the writer had asked someone to proofread his script. 😂
