ππππSo in the end either one of them will survive coz there's only one millet
it's probably gonna be a HE. In one of the recent interviews, Hou Ming Hao said that Lu Yu Xiao likes bad endings. Then Lu Yu Xiao said that Ru Qing Yun (Love in the Clouds) isn't gonna have a bad ending.
Idk if it's a plothole or anything but why does Ji Bozai believe that she's still Mingyi? They were able to cross…
I personally think that name doesn't really matter, whether she is called Ming Yi or Ming Xian, what matters is sincerity. Bridge tested their love, stone tested their sincerity. That's why he was strike by lightning, cause their whole relationship was built on a lie.
Ji Bozai doesn't care much about what's her true name either, as what matters to him is her feelings, not whatever she was called in the past.
Lmao the way they just gave up and let him carve the names. "Whenever I feel pain, I will make you feel it…
I'm also confused about the bridge, but I think there are two versions here.
Either there's a difference between "lovers" and "true love." For example, two people can be lovers, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the feelings they have are "true love.", but maybe just a passing affection.
Or, more likely, it's about sincerity: they might love each other, but since their relationship was ultimately built on a lie, it wasn't accepted easily.
I don't like transmigration genre in general. But in Chinese dramas - especially. Cause it always ends in this one specific way. Sadly, though, it seems that the industry thinks otherwise, as there are more and more transmigration stories coming out lately.
Anyway, except this small problem, the story is OK. It's not super good, but enough to enjoy.
I think if there is quite a bit of disillusioned feedbacks it's because people had high expectations for the match…
To each their own, I guess, but personally I am getting what I was expecting. I don't think its underperforming. While it's not perfect, there is a lack of good wuxia that are not romantic fantasy at their core, so I am enjoying this quite a bit.
Love this already. It's just, uhm, I don't like how China usually handles time-travel stuff, so the ending is probably gonna be very... uhm... not to my liking, but well, we'll see.
Is there any romance, even a little bit not necessary kissing scenes?
You shouldn't watch this for romance. Technically there is, but itβs quite minor and ultimately takes a back seat to mystery, martial arts and friendship. Fang Duo Bing has a small romance subplot, Li Lian Hua has one as well, albeit a sad one. You could say there is a female character who likes Li Lian Hua in the second half of the drama as well, but even if she does, it's mostly one-sided for a reason. It's just wouldn't make any sense for a character such as Li Lian Hua to pursue romance of any kind at the point of life he is in at the beginning of the story.
JBZ: Was it all for the golden millet dream from the very beginning? So you were lying to me all along.
MY: I was afraid to face you. And even more afraid to face myself.
Did you ever have any real feelings for me?
My feelings for you were more than real.
What did you say?
My feelings for you were more than real.
Do you really mean that?
You are the one in my heart. Ji Bozai, You have no idea. how much I care about you.
Listen carefully, Ming Yi. The one before you is me. And it can only be me.
Ji Bozai doesn't care much about what's her true name either, as what matters to him is her feelings, not whatever she was called in the past.
