Red flags are red flags regardless of cultures... when you read my reviews I mention when they are not portraying their own culture correctly... you may say some series are "westernized"... Fact is, Chi Cheng stars out as a homophobe... well, he can change not to be one, but to make it a love story is a bit far fetched. Of course it's a womans fantasy and not reality. And of course the mass rape you see IS a red flag regardless where you come from. And it would not have been necessary to include such a scene.

I don't think that killing off a couple was a good choice... and when realism plays a role after ten years you would have moved on... and yes it's my POV and I'm not a girl which sees everything in pink... Had the second couple survived I would view the series in a different light, but for me it was completely unnecessary.
I do not lie in my reviews :) From my point of view this one of the best queer movies ever done, because the gay guy is not the center of the story, their friendship is :) But I also think the series was one of the best ever done, especially for Korea which did not do a lot in 2025. There was not one single big production of a BL or queer series - and no Hessu in Class 2 does not count, that was a disgrace from the point of turning a BL into a more of half hetero series....

But compared to PitBabe it was so much better for me :)
