I've been waiting a long time for this drama as there has been tons of publicity about it, but honestly it's a bit of a let down. The first episode wasn't engaging enough, especially if you compare it to The Legend of Shen Li. I will still finish it because Yang Mi is Yang Mi after all!!!

Yeah, read that too. It would have been very interesting to see IU playing number 8. I was watching this drama and Atypical Family at the same time and up to now I'm having a hard time seeing that Chun Woo Hee was the FL in both drama. Her acting was just 180 degrees apart. Such a good actress.
watched ep 3 and 4, and it's definitely getting more entertaining with the sexual and violent elements. Number 8 is really funny. Talent S _ X; timed gained 69 hours (Lol)
Just on ep 2 so haven't seen the violence I've been reading about in the later episodes. Can't believe number 8 is the same actress as the FL in Atypical Family. I wouldn't lie though that I'm only watching this because of her. I read that IU was the original choice till she begged off due to other commitments. I can't quite imagine IU in the same attires as number 8.
Not expecting anything when I started watching this drama but surprisingly I liked it a lot. I also didn't know the FL before but I immediately liked her. She also seem to have resemblance to a couple of more well known female actresses. Anyway, I'm shipping the main couple and hope for a happy ending. Note: Shocked to find out that she's also in the 8 Show.

For me the mom's behavior was really awful, but that's me. Anyway the FL also broke up because her ex-BF didn't have enough "backbone" to stand up for her. Always reactive to what his family is doing and he even dissapeared when the FL was being accused about the bidding issue.
Finally finished the drama and it was okayish I guess. I said before that the actress playing the mother should also have been billed as a main character because the last 3 or 4 episodes basically focused on her. I mean even the last scene showed FL and mother side by side in the field and not the FL and ML.
Finally finished watching the drama and the ending was almost perfect. It would have been better had they included a wedding scene on the montage showing the progression from dating to having a child to an aged Hyun-woo visiting Hae-in's grave. I also liked Kim Ji Won's acting in this episode especially after Hyun-woo was shot. Her crying literally brought tears to my eyes. I was rally surprised when I first saw that the last episode was 1 hour and 48 minutes long. This is because they dragged out the Eun Seong arc too long. They could have just significantly shorten it and replaced it with a 2nd wedding scene. Anyway no use crying over spilled milk so on to the next drama.
Watched ep 14 and 15 back to back because many people commented that they didn’t like how things unfolded in ep 14. Honestly I wasn’t annoyed with the 2ML because what he did was totally expected. Also surprised with the hate that Da Hye got for attempting to leave Hae-in’s brother a second time. Again what she did was expected considering she was being threatened. I knew the snow in Germany will have some significance when it snowed after the 2ML put Hae-in’s notebook in the incinerator. They crammed too many things in ep 15, but at least we know where things are headed with Hae-in’s aunt and the farmer. Also that Grace isn’t totally evil and Da Hye helped a lot in providing the evidence for the 2ML’s embezzlement of Queen’s. My favorite scenes are quite obvious. Hae-in booking herself and Hyun-woo in the aquarium and having their wedding shown in there. Also, when she remembered who is her real love after reading her notebook. Curious what happened to her at the end of ep 15, and really, another car crash involving the lead. So cliche!!! The 2ML and his mother are going to crash hard back to reality. The teaser shows a bloodied Hyun-woo. Is this after his recovery in the hospital? Also don’t tell me the 2ML will somehow catch Hae-in again and Hyun-woo will come to find her again. The 2ML has done so much evil that I really want him to die, but then that’s the easy way out. Whatever happens to him in the end, I hope he suffers a lot.
Holding off on watching ep 14 because I know I will be annoyed with the delusional Eun Seong. I will watch it when ep 15 is available because surely (I hope the writers don't mess with us viewers) the downfall of the villians will start in this episode.
Just finished ep 29 and finally Huan had the much needed heart to heart talk with her mother. Still doesn't exactly absolve the mother from her previous actions, but the important thing is that she has admitted her mistake. Glad to see the out if line concierge staff in Xing Anli is gone, but I can't believe he had the guts to splash water on Huan's face. Am at work so don't know yet what will happen in ep 30. Having reached this point in the drama, I am of the opinion that the actress playing Huan's mother should also have been billed as one of the leads aside from Yang Zi and Xu Kai because of the amount of screen time and also the long dialogues.
Up to ep 28 now and I wasn't expecting that Huan will take the initiative to kiss Zhi Ming in the double deck bus at ep 25. Seriously will there be more annoying characters as the drama progresses. I mean Huan's uncle and cousin were really bad. But her mother is still the most annoying one. Forcing Zao for apologize for something that wasn't his fault. No need to write more colourful words to describe my annoyance with the mother because she's just a character in the drama, but if mother was like that IRL I wouldn't be as controlled as Huan.
